aly woke up as she was leaving. “wait.” she murmured and sighed. “what are you doing here?” she asked softly and slowly sat up with a groan.

"what?" alexa muttered and turned around. she gave a shrug as she asked what she was doing there. "well, i just.. wanted to make sure you were safe." she said quietly. after the chasm, she didn't care if she disliked aly. she just had to make sure she was alright.

[skyprincess]

”you look sad, what’s wrong?” she asked softly and waved her over. “i’ve never seen you like this.”

[lupins]

"it's nothing. just something happened. that's all. now i need to go make sure marcus is okay with the transfers."

[skyprincess]

”tell me.” she said with a frown and bit her lip. “it’s rude to keep things from people.”

[lupins]

"i don't have to tell you anything." alexa said and sighed a bit. "it's not rude when you had no idea what it was to begin with."

[skyprincess]

”shouldn’t zach be in here? he wasn’t at training either.” she murmured and started having a coughing fit. it ended after a minute or two later and she just sighed.

instead of saying anything, alexa just walked out of the room, feeling as if she was going to cry. eventually she made her way up to the roof, where marcus and the transfers were still training.

she asked a nurse and when she said they found him in the chasm, aly started sobbing. she cried until she fell asleep, tears still running down her red cheeks.

marcus told lex to take the rest of the day off, but she declined. she couldn't let her own things get in the way of training.
