Kaylana rolled her eyes. "Jesse, come on. We both know he isnt going to do anything. Just give me a few hours alone with him. I just want to talk to him without you always being there. You have to be getting bored, he doesnt even talk."

Dash shifted onto the floor and laud her down gently. He gently felt her firehead and frowned as he felt a fever. "Youre going to be ok."

Magnus resumed watching the people, not wanting her to feel uncomfortable. "It was quiet. Currently avoiding the food though. Several people are looking quite ill." He said as hectook note of tge people who looked like were going to collapse.

Jesse shook his head. "I am not going to disobey Liah. Just pretend that I am not there."

"I hope so," she whispered, because she was scared that something bad was going to happen to her.

Liah furrowed her brows. "I know. I am getting worried. The last thing we need right now is for everyone to get ill."

Kaylana narrowed her eyes at him. "And listen to you laugh every time i try to get him to kiss me? No thanks." She sighed in frustration and looked over at liah and Magnus. "Why are they suddenly so friendly?"

Dash gently kissed her forehead. "Do you want to talk or sleep?"

Magnus frowned as he tried to think. "I heard someone mentioned sky people are here? What is going on with that?"

Jesse laughed at that. "I cannot help it. It is hilarious, the way you throw yourself at him." He chuckled. He followed her gaze to Liah and Magnus. "They loved each other. Love like that, it does not just disappear." He didn't necessarily mean romantically, he knew that they had been like family before.

"Rest." She relaxed a bit, resting her head against him. "I don't feel so good," she admitted.

"Azgeda. They tried to get them to show them our camp. They injured Dash and did something to Caia. I do not know what yet." She glanced across the fire to look at the other people. She sighed softly, wishing that she was able to have a better relationship with Magnus. But she was too afraid to try to work on it. She didn't want him to dislike her, or for her to make things worse.

Kaylana glared at him. "He is an attractive guy who i feel has not dated the correct people in the past. He needs someone more sensible." She sneered at jesse, hating how he acted as if he onew everything about magnus when she felt she did. She returned her attention to liah and watched her nervous behavior. "If sge is so scared of him why not leave him alone?"

Dash nodded and sat back on the ground, watching her closely.

Magnus rubbed his brow and closed his eyes. "They are planning an attack, of course." He released an annoyed groan and continued to think. "Probably wont come for a few days since they are cowards and since they are targeting us they still dont know about piper which is good. You should probably try to reform tge alliance with the sky people before its too late. They have grown stronger since they arrived." Magnus felt himself relaxing as they spoke, enjoying how it felt like old times between them.

Jesse just rolled his eyes. "Liah is not afraid of him," he scoffed. "Besides, if you want to know how to get him to kiss you, you should probably ask Liah. I mean, he kissed her." He shrugged, having a bit of fun with this, even though he knew that he probably shouldn't.

Caia curled up on the ground, wrapping her arms around herself. She closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep, but she was feeling too off to get comfortable. Especially on the ground.

Liah nodded. "I will do that. We need allies. I do not want to take any risks." She glanced at Magnus, then at the ground. "Magnus..." She was speaking quietly now, but hesitated. "I did miss you. A lot. I thought you were going to die earlier. I wish I could spend some time with you, but I feel like I will only make things worse."

Kaylana immediately tensed up as a jealous rage took hold of her. "He did what!?" She got up and without another word she stomped over to liah and Magnus, stopping infront of them with her hands on her hips. "Liah, hey, hows your night going?" She asked in a sweet voice laced with anger.

Dash laid next to her and carefully shifted her so she rested her head on his shoulder with one of his arms wrapped aroubd her, hoping it would offsr her some comfort.

Magnus looked at her and smiled at her softly, speaking in a low voice ss well. "Liah, ive really missed this. I honestly thought i wouldnt ever get to talk like this with you again." He wss torn from tge conversation by Kaylana's arrival, looking up at her confused as he struggled to figure out why she was angry.

Jesse laughed. "He was in love with her. Did no one tell you that?" He smirked, watching her storm away.

Caia smiled softly, moving closer to him. She snuggled against him, feeling a bit better now. She felt a bit safer with him close.

Liah smiled softly, then it dropped when she heard Kaylana's voice. She turned to look at her, not sure at all why she was mad. "Fine, thank you," she said, using her 'leader voice', which was authoritive and no-nonsense. "Is something the matter, Kaylana?" she asked, confused.

Kaylana crossed hrr arms tightly across her chest. "Yes actually. Can you please have guards not follow Magnus every second of the day because i have been trying to get him to kiss me all day but he cant because he is obviously too shy to in front of a creepy guard."

Magnus frowned, completely confused. He was not aware that Kaylana had been flirting with him all day and he was almost certain he wasnt a shy person, he just felt she didnt need any help holding a conversation just like dash. He looked over at Liah, hoping that she woukd understand the situation better than he did.

Liah laughed. She glanced over at Jesse, who winked at her. She was sure Kaylana caught the looks. "Wow. Real forward, aren't you?" She smirked. "I would not be speaking to your leader like that, if I were you." Her smirk widened. "Magnus does not do 'shy'. If you were close to him you would know that. You have not been hanging around him for long. I cannot see why he would want to kiss you when he barely knows you." She glanced at Magnus, feeling a tad bit awkward. "No," she finally replied to her request. "You do not command me. I want a guard with Magnus at all times. Not that I do not trust him, but because I want someone to keep an eye on him. Make sure nothing happens, let me know how he is doing. And it puts my people's minds at ease. You are not a guard, nor someone I particularly trust. You cannot watch him on your own. Now back off before I become offended. I do not like it when people second guess my decisions, especially one who's opinion makes no different when I make those decisions." She narrowed her eyes slightly, less amused and more annoyed.
