Kaylana trailed along behind happily, quickly catching up and chattering to magnus as she batted her eyes at him to draw his attention. Her smile widened as she saw a slightly smirk creep onto his face as she talked, encouraging her to continue on.

Dash winced as the healer began to stitch him up causing him to grip the seat tightly. "Its embarrasing." He said through gritted teeth as he waited for the pain to end.

Jesse stopped himself from rolling his eyes again. He knew that Kaylana would quickly get on his nerves. He already found her annoying.

Caia shrugged. She was keeping her distance from them, but watched as the healer treated him.

Liah was notified about Caia and Dash, but she didn't go to see them yet.

Dash laid back on the bench as the healer left, trying not move his stomach in case is caused further pain. "Good thing im in here with you, no threat of laughing when youre around." He teased her but he looked over at her worried, checking to see if anything was happening to her yet.

Caia rolled her eyes. "I would be insulted if that wasn't true." She was feeling a bit off, but didn't say anything.

Dash forced himself to sit up before slidding over so she could sit next to him. "How are you holding up?"

Caia sat down next to him, glad that he wasn't acting like she was something to avoid now that something was going to happen to her. "I'm alright."

(a bit of a time skip? Maybe to the end of the day when Liah and Magnus see each other again?

Magnus sat away from the other villagers as they all ate and talked happily around the fire at the center of camp. He sat against a tree on the outskirts, barely visible through the darkness but unable to deny that he enjoyed seeibg everyone again even if they avoided him.

Kaylana walked over to where Jesse was and handed him a plate of food as she smiled sweetly. "Do you have a moment to talk?"

Dash sat silently in the hut, waiting patiently for everything to be over.

Jesse took the plate from her, and furrowed his brows. "Uh, yeah. Sure." He moved over so she could sit down to be polite, but he didn't really want her sitting next to him. "What is it?"

Caia sat near him, looking down at the floor. She wasn't feeling so great, but didn't want anyone worrying.

Liah walked around, making sure everyone was good. She spotted Magnus, and went over to him. "Hey," she said, sitting down near him.

Kaylana smiled and sat beside him. "What do i need to do to get you to not have abyone guard Magnus for a while?"

Dash watched her worriedly, feeling fine other than his stitches. He gently rubbed her back and muttered to her quietly, "you should try to rest. You dont look so good."

Magnus looked up at her confused and shifted slightly. "Hey. Whats wrong?" He thought back to everything that had happened since he last saw her, struggling to recall what he did wrong.

"Nothing. I am not leaving Magnus alone. Ever. Not unless Liah orders me to."

Caia closed her eyes, leaning against him a bit. She rested her head on his shoulder, letting him sooth her. Her stomach was tossing around, and maybe rest would do it some good.

"Uh, nothing." She glanced down at her feet awkwardly. "I just wanted to see how you were doing. How was it today? Was it alright?"
