"None of you can be trusted." He snarled. He glared over at her. "I would have done anythibg for you and you barely even noticed me. Why else would suddenly start to act like you love me if not to make sure you were always safe from me?"

"If I wanted to be safe from you, I would have stayed away!" she snapped. "I stayed because I wanted to help you get better so you could live with me and our children! That's all I want!"

Magnus looked away. "I dont just mean now. I mean always." He huffed. "Why did you marry me, liah? You had nothing to gain from it."

"I married you because I love you," she told him, frowning. "I wanted you as my husband more than anything. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, and I still do, even if you're acting awful!"

Magnus growled angrily. "You are lieing. You want me dead just like everyone else does."

"No, I don't!" She shot him a glare and rested her head on her hands, squeezing her eyes shut. She had to fix this somehow. She had to fix the mess Iris got her into.

Magnus looked over at her, watching her carefully. She seemed... Genuine. "How are the twins?" He asked softly.

"They're fine," she huffed. "They miss me. But I'm here to help you. They're staying with my friends." She stopped saying our friends now. He kept trying to kill them.

Magnus nodded and struggled to sort out his thoughts. "I want to see them."

"No way." She glanced over at him. "I don't trust you with anyone, let alone my two gems."
