Piper quickly picked Clara up ascthe people rushed towards the exit to see what was happening. She followed after them as she carried clara, quickly falling into step beside liah.

Magnus saw dalton exit and smiles faintly to himself. They had survived. He heard other people making their way out and turned away. He began to walk through the rubble, remaining hidden, as he headed home but dalton still caught a glimpse of someone walking away.

Dash nodded but didnt look at him. He felt the familar choking feeling as he panicked at the thought of trying to make it to the ground and possibly seeing him again. "I.... Im not going. I think I'll just stay here and keep an eye on things."

"Hey, wait!" he called, starting to run after the person he had thought he had seen.

Liah led her children out of the bunker, smiling as she felt the sun on her face. She smiled happily as she watched her children's faces beam as they played in the sunlight.

Mikah's face fell. "But we'll need you to get to the ground! And Dalton will want you there!" He gently rested his hand on his shoulder. "It's okay to be afraid, Dash," he said, understanding his fear of going down and seeing the people they had left behind. At least, that's what he assumed his worry was about. "But staying here all by yourself, that's not an option."

Magnus stopped as he heard dalton running after him and turned to look at him. Besides looking older he seemed mostly the same save for how uncomfortable he obviously was. He didnt say anything as he watched dalton and listened to the sound of people basking in the sunlight.

Clara began to svream in fear of the sand and sunlight. Piper tried not to laugh as sge consoled her crying child but allowed herself to blissfully enjoy the space. The weight and fear that had filled her over the last few years dissipated as she looked up at the sky.

Dash looked over at him, his fear shinning through his hopeless eyes. "What if he doesnt like what ive become or didnt make it or... I dont know... I just cant bare to see him."

"Magnus!" he shouted happily, running over to him. He actually hugged the guy, so happy to see him. "You're alive!" He slid his gun back in its place, since it seemed like Magnus had been the only one here.

Mikah gently pulled him into a hug. "Would you rather spend the rest of your life up here, never knowing? You have to take the chance. Everyone is waiting for you down there. I know it."

Liah jerked her head up when she heard Dalton shout "Magnus". Leaving her children to play around Piper and Clara, she slowly made her way to where Dalton had gone. She stopped in her tracks, seeing the love of her life standing there. "Magnus?" she whispered, and her feet took her all the way over to him. "Magnus!"

Magnus forced an uncomfortable smile and patted dalton's back when he hugged him, no longer used to human contact. "Hi dalton. I missed you too." And he had, he just didnt know what to do with him now that he had him back. His attention was pulled away by the sound of liah's voice. He gently pushed dalton away and stepped towards her. He didnt reach out for her but looked at her with a mixture of love and concern. "Hi.... Are... Are you ok?" He asked, his voice low and sounding lost.

Dash hugged him back tightly and slowly nodded. "Ok.... Ill go get ready...." He pulled away and walked off to the bathroom.

Liah flung her arms around him, hugging him tightly. She sobbed into his shoulder, breathing in his familiar scent. "I thought you were dead!" she sobbed, trembling against him. She was so glad he wasn't. She thought she would never see him again.

Dalton watched Magnus, noticing something different with him. He was different.

Mikah patted his shoulder, giving him a reassuring smile. "Alright. We'll be around." He left to go see Caius to make their rounds around the Ark one more time. He was almost saddened to leave, after living here for a while, but more excited to go to the Earth. He tried his best not to feel fear yet about the journey.

Magnus hugges her back tightly but dalton could see how uncomfortable he was. He kissed the top of her head before pulling away from her. "The twins. Did they...." He trailed off, unsure of anything, especially of what to say.

Dash came back with his things packed. He had gotten a shower, shaved, and cut his hair causing his curps to bounce brightly but his eyes still remained haunted. He fid final checks before pulling on his suit and looking at the others. "Are you sure about this?"

"They're fine! They're amazing." She pressed her lips against his, not noticing anything different about Magnus. "Magi! Lio! Come see your father!" she called happily, turning to look at the bunker entrance. She kept an arm wrapped around Magnus' waist, not wanting to ever let him go. Her wedding ring glittered in the sunlight, still looking in good shape even though she never took it off.

"Definitely," Mikah said, refusing to show anything but determination. They had to try. Caius nodded, showing less certainly, but he was willing to try.

Magnus didnt kiss her back as all of the noise and people overwhelmed him. When the twins came running into view he couldnt handle anymore. He turned and walked off along tge path worn in by his returning to the vault every day and headed home. He couldnt understand why he was being like this. Had he not been working towards freeing them every day? Had his heart not broken every night to not have liah? But none of that mattered. All he wanted was his farm and silence as he left liah standing alone with dalton.

Dash swallowed nervously but forced himself into the ship. He could do this. All he had to do was the easy part, getting them all to earth. Then, once they found the others, he could go off and never have to deal with whatever heartbreak awaited him with dalton. He started up the drop ship, listening to it purr to life.

Liah's face fell as Magnus just turned away from them. Didn't he want to see how much their kids had grown? Didn't he missed them? And her? Liah let out a whimpered, watching him walk away from them. Dalton wrapped his arms around Liah, holding her close and she started to cry, her vision blurring. She hadn't thought this was how their reunion with Magnus would go at all, if he had survived.

Mikah murmured a prayer, resting his hand on Caius' shoulder. He grinned at him, wishing everything would be alright. "Here we go," he murmured, feeling the ship start to move.
