"Yes, she will." she stated, mostly looking to Alessa, "Once my shift is over, I'll be stopping by to give them to her." Alessa's orb faded away and she rubbed her temples. "Ow..." she winced quietly.

[LilacSky]

“Alessa, honey, are you alright?” David asked.

[Boomer]

"Headache..." she murmured, keeping her head down. After a few minutes, she opened her eyes and slowly stood up. "Can we go home?" she asked, looking to David.

[LilacSky]

“I’m waiting for Mary to be done with her shift. Can you sleep for a couple minutes?” Maybe Mary could give her the injections while she was sleeping.

[Boomer]

Alessa flicked her tail at the odd request. "I'm not tired..." she said. Mary looked to David as she put everything away. "It'll still be a few hours." she murmured, "Go home, relax... I'll be there around three or so."

“Okay. Come on, Alessa.” David had thought Mary meant for them to stay there until her shift was done so Mary could give her the shots then. He wondered how she would do it if she hadn’t been able to just now. He felt himself blushing, feeling like an idiot for not understanding. He always was awkward around Mary. He’d never had a crush before. He knew she didn’t like him though. Yet he couldn’t give up hope for some reason.

[Boomer]

Mary looked to David, sighing softly. She could tell he was really trying to be a good parent. "David..." she murmured, "How do you feel about possibly going on a date sometime? Maybe get some coffee or lunch?" She wanted to make him feel less of a screw-up. "I'll have Maria babysit her." she added.

David felt all the color drain out of his face, but at the same time he wanted to explode with scarlet. “Y-you want to go on a date? With ME?” He felt faint.

[Boomer]

"Of course, I was speaking to you after all." she murmured, "I'll be by at three, give Alessa her vaccines, then we can drop her off at my house." Mary looked at her watch and set it. "Be ready at three, I don't accept tardiness." she stated, moving to get the door for them.

David shuffled through the door, letting Alessa pass him first. “Th-Thank you, Mary,” he whispered. Then he hurried to his car.
