Mary uncapped the first needle, then watched Alessa closely. "I really don't want to have you restrained." she said. Alessa simply glared at her, upset that her plan had been foiled.

David said, “Is there anything I can do?” for he was feeling useless.

[Boomer]

"Take her wrists and hold them while using your arms to hug her." she instructed. Alessa then pulled her paw from David in an attempt to escape. Fear was overriding her logic and everything told her to get out.

David did as he was told gingerly, kind of afraid of Alessa. All of this over some shots. She’d never misbehaved like this before.

[Boomer]

"No!" she barked, squirming and kicking, "No! Don't let them do this!" It didn't take much force to break free from David. The commotion had drawn the attention of a few doctors and nurses. As they came in, Alessa's eyes glowed brightly and she put up another orb around herself.

“Alessa!” David didn’t even know what to do at this point. He looked at Mary.

[Boomer]

Alessa stayed in the orb as the others stared at her. They were waiting as Alessa stayed in the orb, too afraid to move or say anything. "That's enough... I'm not going to traumatize her." murmured Mary, shaking her head.

“We’re not giving her the shots?” David asked. “After all this?”

[Boomer]

"If we push her any more, she's going to have an episode." said Mary, looking to him, "It's not fair to drug her and make her unable to move or speak just for vaccines." As the nurses and doctors left the room, Alessa began to calm down. The orb was starting to fade away.

“Yeah. But will she ever get them?” David asked.
