By the time they found Mary, it was clear that Alessa was petrified. She was shaking as she stood next to David. Mary stepped out of Maria's room. "Did your meeting go well?" she asked calmly, hoping to give Alessa some time to calm down.

[LilacSky]

“Very. Thanks for asking. Now, Alessa wants to be done with this as quick as possible. Do you think you can help her?”

[Boomer]

"Of course..." murmured Mary, "We'll need to go downstairs." She led them to the elevator.

[LilacSky]

David squeezed Alessa’s shoulder, sorry she had to do this.

[Boomer]

Alessa grew more and more anxious as they stepped into the elevator. As they were brought downstairs and led to an empty room, her steps were getting slower and slower.

[LilacSky]

“Come on, Alessa.” They entered the room she would be getting her shots in.

[Boomer]

Alessa's eyes were wide, her breathing quick, and her paws quivering. She reluctantly took a step into the room, then stopped. She couldn't make herself go any farther. Her eyes began to glaze over as she was having flashbacks. Mary stayed still, making no attempt to grab at her.

David reached out to grab her in case she was going to pass out.

[Boomer]

Alessa no longer saw Mary and David; she saw the doctor and nurses that gave her the first set of shots she could remember. As she was grabbed at, she screamed and used her powers to try and form a protective orb around herself.

“Alessa!” David gasped.
