"I'll rest once Shelby is cleared." she murmured. Maria led them out to the car, helping Mary into the backseat and getting David in the passenger's seat. Alessa sat on one side of Mary, still shaken up from the events that unfolded. She didn't say anything as she kept her gaze to Scarlett.

Once arriving at the hospital, Shelby was entered into a room and checked out. They had cream for her burns, medicine for her pain, and a few shots for her now-usable powers.

[Boomer]

Alessa stayed with Maria and David, as she was too afraid to see the shots Shelby had to get. The pup hoped she wouldn't need any. Mary stayed with Shelby the entire time, talking her through everything.

David sat with Alessa. "Are you okay, after everything that's happened?" he asked. He had been asked this many times after the car accident and hoped it would help if Alessa talked about it or just said yes or no.

[Boomer]

Alessa buried her muzzle in Maria's shirt, not wanting to be at the hospital. "I want to go home..." she whimpered. Maria rocked the pup to soothe her. She hummed a little as Alessa quietly cried, finally releasing her pent up anxiety and fear.

David looked on, concerned. "Shouldn't we take her home?" he asked. "Mary is here with Shelby..."

[Boomer]

"I don't want to leave them here." said Maria quietly. She waited for any kind of news about them. Alessa soon quieted down as she felt a lot better.

David was worried about his daughter. He felt like he preferred Mary and Maria over him, and could he blame her? "Feeling better?" he asked Alessa.

[Boomer]

Alessa slightly nodded as she held tightly onto Scarlett. The girl's ears twitched as Maria stood up. She pushed David to where Shelby and Mary were. Alessa shut her eyes in case there was any blood on Shelby.

Shelby looked almost completely better. There was ointment on her neck and her thigh wound, which were both bandaged, as well as where she had gotten her shots so Alessa wouldn't panic. She looked shaken but better than earlier.
