Alessa nodded a little as she sat down. "Yes please." she said quietly, "Could we go to the hospital first? Mary hates to be late with anything."

[LilacSky]

Chrys checked the time. "I can get us there on time. Are you supposed to take blood first or eat first?"

[Boomer]

"Blood first." she answered, dipping her head. The pup was a little antsy to go; the faster she got her blood drawn, the faster she could eat.

"Alright then, we can eat when we get back. Let's get going." She went outside, ushering for Alessa to get into the car.

[Boomer]

Alessa stepped outside and into the car. She buckled herself in and took a deep breath. "I hope they're doing better today..." she murmured.

"Me too, sweetie." Chrys drove her to the hospital. "If Mary's not feeling well or she's teaching her students how to draw blood themselves, you might have someone else do it. Let's go to her room first anyways though."

[Boomer]

Alessa nodded a little, then looked out the window. "I hope the medical students don't use me to draw blood." she winced. The pup shuddered a little.

[LilacSky]

"Of course not them! They're still practicing! Surely if Mary is feeling ill she'll recommend someone. I'm sure she'll be okay though. She cares a lot for you." They arrived at the hospital.

[Boomer]

"I... I love her." said Alessa softly, "I really do. She's exactly what I've always wanted from my mother." The pup felt embarrassed for admitting that to Chrys. She buried her muzzle in Scarlett to hide how red her face was.

"Are you embarrassed, hun? Don't be! She is a very lovely woman. Do you feel that way about David?" Chrys got out, beckoning for Alessa again.
