"I think she'll do better in that setting." she murmured, "Besides, once she gets caught up, she can move on to a normal class." She watched him and flicked her tail. "Are you going to take her today?" asked Mary, "I'd be more than willing to help you."

"Maybe tomorrow. A lot has happened recently," David said.

Mary dipped her head. "I won't be able to come tomorrow." she said quietly, "So if you want moral support, I suggest we go today."

"Okay. Let's go."

Mary stood up and waited by the door. She decided to let David tell Alessa that they were going; it was easy for her to tell the girl, but she knew David had to learn.

"Hey, Alessa, put your stuff down. We're going out," David told the girl.

Alessa had gone to her room to work on her sketches. She was totally focused on her art until David came in. She looked over at him and flicked her tail. "Where are we going?" she asked wearily.

"To get you registered for school."

[Boomer]

"Oh..." she muttered bitterly. The pup shut her book and collected Scarlett from her desk. She wasn't in a great mood from the news. Alessa walked downstairs with a scowl on her face.

"Come on, Alessa, lighten up! The majority of the things we've done have been your choice," David said.
