Alessa nodded as she returned to the table to collect Scarlett. "Did you two have any plans for today?" asked Mary. She felt like spending the day with them. "I'm not sure." admitted Alessa.

"I want Alessa to go to school," David said simply. "There's nothing for her to do here."

[Boomer]

Alessa turned to David and pinned her ears back. "You said you'd homeschool me." she said quietly, wincing some.

[LilacSky]

"I know, but I don't know as much as the teachers at school do. No one would make fun of you, Alessa; no one can see your scars, and I can tell them what you want to and don't want to do so you don't get scared and have an outburst."

[Boomer]

"If you tell them, they'll just single me out anyways." she whimpered, "Or they'll try to get a reaction. I can't go..." The pup shook her head as she held onto Scarlett. "I'm too far behind." she added quietly.

"Mary? Do you think she should go?" David asked.

[Boomer]

Mary looked to David for a moment; she didn't encounter this problem with her pups. "I think that decision should be made by you." she said quietly, "I don't have experience with this issue."

"I think she should go." David said. "Alessa, you need to learn interaction and basic education. School gives you both."

[Boomer]

"W-what grade would I go to?" she asked, lowering her tail. "I'm sure there's private classes that can help you catch up." said Mary softly, "We'll use this year to get you caught up and next year you can start in fifth grade." Alessa hated the entire idea.

"So, Alessa? Can you do it?" David asked.
