[Boomer]

Alessa looked over to David as she sat still. She was an expert at being still; she had to learn at a young age. She didn't move except to breathe.

David finished quickly. "There!" he said proudly. "How do you like them?"

[Boomer]

Alessa didn't move until David spoke. She looked to her paws, a bit surprised that it didn't hurt at all. "They look fine, thank you." she said softly.

David grinned. "Glad you like them."

[Boomer]

Alessa stood from her seat as she heard knocking. "I think Mary is here." she said softly. She moved towards the door, waiting for David.

David opened the door. "Hello, Mary!" he greeted cheerfully.

[Boomer]

Alessa sat on the couch as David got the door. Mary dipped her head as she came inside. "Good morning." she hummed. She seemed to be in a good mood this morning, mostly because she had gotten a rare day off from her usual days off.

"Taking Alessa's blood tests, I assume?" David murmured, shutting the door behind Mary.

[Boomer]

"Right on the dot." she said, gesturing to the clock. Mary got everything set up, then took the pup's blood. Alessa shut her eyes and winced softly. As Mary packed up everything, she went to the kitchen to get Alessa some juice. She returned and gave the glass, and her iron pill, to her. Alessa took her pill, then drank all of the juice.
