[Boomer]

"Oh..." she said quietly, "Congratulations..." She then got out of bed and stretched. "Could I see some examples?" she asked, "I don't want our styles to look too different."

David went to his writing room and handed Alessa a drawing he'd made.

[Boomer]

Alessa studied it for a moment. "I like it..." she said, "I'll sketch out the characters and you can draw them." Alessa went to her desk, then began to sketch the main characters.

David watched, intrigued.

[Boomer]

Alessa finished the sketch, then showed it to David. "Do you think you can draw them?" she asked.

[LilacSky]

"Yup. Tell me what you think." He started drawing.

[Boomer]

Alessa stood next to him as he drew her characters. So far she seemed to like how they were turning out. "I think you should sketch them on tracing paper so we can overlap them onto my drawing." she said, "Then we can see how well they'd look against the background."

"Good idea." David started to do as the little pup had said. He was thrilled Alessa wanted him to help. Though, since she hadn't answered Dr. Hill's question of whether she liked/loved him, he was kind of sad.

[Boomer]

Alessa went on to draw more background scenes for the book. She was hard at work as she carefully sketched out the village.

David took her finished pages and drew her characters atop them.
