Alessa's ears returned to their normal state. "So she's coming?" she asked, "I'm glad she could make it..."

“Me too.” David adjusted his tie, his cheeks pink. “Come on, let’s go to the car.”

[Boomer]

Alessa tilted her head a little. "Shouldn't we wait for her here?" she asked quietly.

“Oh. Of course.” David sat down, his head in his hand. “We’ll wait.”

[Boomer]

Alessa sat down and looked out the window. She figured Mary would be to the house even earlier than what she said. The pup patiently waited for her to show up.

There was a knock at the door. David stood up as straight as a rail and walked robotically to the door. “Hello, Mary,” he said.

[Boomer]

Three small pups stood at their mother's sides as the door was opened. "Hello David..." said Mary softly, "I hope you and Alessa don't mind if my pups tag along?" "We wanted to go to the park too!" said the taller female pup. The shorter female pup gave a nod. "Cyn really likes the park." she stated.

“Of course we don’t mind! Maybe Alessa can make some new friends,” David said with a grin.

"I hope so too..." murmured Mary, giving a nod, "Are we driving there or walking?" Alessa looked to the pups, then to Mary for a moment.

“There are a lot of places close by. We can drive if Alessa and your pups don’t want to walk, but it’s really not far.”
