" at that, batears turned to disappear into the wheat, littlerain scrambling after him.

Ashclover frowned after them, letting the duo walk a bit ahead, before trotting after them at a brisk pace, soon in step besides Littlerain.

littlerain turned to face him, speaking up. " what's your clan like? besides the grass and stuff, I mean the cats. what're the cats like? would they hate it here as much as you or is this just a you problem? "

Ashclover cast her a side glance, before reverting has gaze back onto the path. "I'm not sure how they feel about grain; Emberpaw'd probably enjoy gallivanting in it at any rate... though for the most part, my clan is more friendly than yours to outsiders." He sighed and looked on ahead, eyes lidded slightly. He imagined it was very flowery over at NocturneClan; spring blossoms would be coming in and covering the cliffs like a graceful blanket.

littlerain turned away. " please don't be too hard on them, kay? we haven't had many friendly visitors, or much at all. the last visitors we had were that rogue group, before that it was just a few loners- lonelybush came from that rogue group, actually! they kind of left him though, so now he's with us! " littlerain's expression lit up, she liked talking about the others, lonelybush was just like a fluffy kitten. " do you think your clan would like us? "

"Alright, fine." Ashclover stated with a sigh, perking his ears slightly as she kept talking. He thought about questioning Lonelybush's name, but recalling to mind Cookieflight he made no comment. "Depends, to be honest I don't know much about your clan, besides your interesting territory." He mewed instead.

' I understand we might be odd, but I promise we're not so bad. The clan is still a work in progress, little things change as time goes on. The state of the clan depends heavily upon it's leadership, which is when it's currently a tad messy. I'd imagine our territory is a lot different from yours, huh? I wonder what the green wheat feels like under your paws ' littlerain spared a glance at her surroundings, wow that sure was a lot of wheat.

"Somewhat scratchy." Ashclover comment with a wry smile. "Tickly scratchy; where I'm from we have pebble, grass and leaves. Much softer- except the rocks, but one gets used to them!"

Littlerain watched in awe of Ashclover, her mouth hanging open ever so slightly in amazement at his words. ` I've never felt grass before! oh, I bet it's simply wonderful! ` her voice pondered. although the clan believed their wheat to be blessed, they had no ill feelings towards the shorter, green counterpart.
