Ashclover rubbed his face with a paw. "Uhhh never mind. Just... never mind, it's not important."

' It seems rather important to you, rogue. Withholding information will not be a sign of well being in our land, and you will be thrown to the wheat carriers. You do not seem to like wheat, so I do not believe you'd like such beasts. '

Batears remarked, Talonclaw coming up behind him. Two guards? Perhaps they felt Littlerain was something of a guard, and there should be two-- Though the clan felt it safer, Talonclaw felt it unnecessary for him to be there.

"If the girl didn't understand what a person was, believe me, you won't understand what bread is." Ashclover pointed out angrily, flexing his claws into the wheat-bedding. "It isn't relevant to what you want to know, anyways. The point is I didn't come here to touch your sun fields or whatever she called them- hey, and why is he back? I don't like him."

Normally he wouldn't be this rude, but seeing the looming figure of the grumpy guard was the lass straw.

' I don't like you either, rogue. I'm not sure any of us do. You seem to be scaring the kits. '

talonclaw added the last bit at the last second, queens herding their kit away from the looming corner of the lake walls, the kits' eyes wide. Some were curious, others not so pleased with the new addition. Mentors were talking to their apprentices, something to do with talking to do rogue, no bet. Batears's ears flicked as he looked around the clearing, watching the cats hustle.

' You do seem quite frightening. '

Ashclover huffed in response. "Here it is, I am alone; abandoned and lost, a land, forlorn... I am an outcast, away from home!"

talonclaw scoffed.

' What does that have to do with you being scary? '

"Am I scary? Or just misunderstood?" Ashclover declared dismally. "Is this all just a dream? A dream that will fly from me, fly like the birds, towards the sun- only to fall, fall to their deaths, like Icarus. I, a poor lost figure, trapped in torrents of wheat, wheat which waves like the... the seas of my homeland do. To be back there-" He mumbled on and on, casting the two glances. Perhaps he could plead insanity if this 'trial' went south? "-There were she lays, buried. Oh, sadness. To know that water, which I have always cherished, would be my undoing, Sweet Clover. I join you soon, wherever you are, if they madness goes on."

The loud, squeamish voice of a kit came into range of the three warriors as a small, white fluffy kit waddled over, her mother instead taking care of her siblings. ' Snowkit, you shouldn't be here.' Batears began, though the kit has already waddled into paw reach of the, supposedly, rogue. Talonclaw began to mutter something, his tail flicking to his side to tap at the kits back. ' now now Snowkit, you must touch the rogue, he'll give you flees! ' pat that, Snowkit hopped back, Batears standing behind her.

"Hey! I'm not a rogue, stop calling me one. And you are more likely to have fleas than me." Ashclover growled, glaring at the guards coldly. "I have had medication... or whatever they call it for fleas. At least once. Maybe twice, but that was moons ago." This said he laid his head back on his paws and looked at the kit curiously. "I also won't hurt the kit. I'll have you know I'm trusted in my clan by all kits. I am likable if you don't lock me up and threaten me with trials." He huffed.

snowkit jumped at the, uh, notrogue's harsh tone, batears turning to him with a flick of his ear. snowkit was now hustled by batears's paws, talonclaw exchanging glanes with the warrior before turning to the cat in custody. ' you may be trusted with your rogue kits, but not ours. if you do not bade well with the leader, you will be send to the stoneway, being 'nice' is essential to your trial. ' he added.
