Orrin relaxed as she carefully braided his hair, a small smile playing on his lips. " Doesn't hurt. It's rather nice" He said cheerfully, keeping his voice down so he didn't wake daniel. The merman closed his eyes and soon found himself getting comfortably drowsy. " This is fun." He remarked softly, " Hope we can do this more often. And I can braid your hair"

[Trots]

“Oh please do! And yes~we must do this more.” She smiled happily and finished the three braids leading to the top of his head. She used the left over hair and she tied it back into a bun, putting a red bow to mess with him a bit. “Perfect.” She chuckled and wrapped her arms around his neck from behind, pretending to strnagle him and she attempted to pull him down.

Orrin admired his new hairstyle, chuckling warmly at the red bow Dawn added for fun. " It is perfect," He said cheerfully with a satisfied nod. As Dawn pretend to strangle him from behind, Orrin broke down in a fit of warm laughter though he tried to suppress his giggles so he wouldn't wake Daniel. Being such a tall, muscular guy there wasn't much she could do to force him over. Good-naturedly, the warrior let Dawn wrestle him down and he declared in feigned a defeated tone," Oh no! You've got me!" Gently, Orrin wrapped his arms around her in a cozy bear hug and grinned up at her crookedly. " Not everybody can take down a warrior like me. "

[Trots]

Dawn smiled and shrieked lightly when he wrapped his arms around her. “Oh, well I must be stronger than you, no?” She chuckled and playfully struggled to get away from his grasp. “I belieeeeveee!” She whined And soon just rolled over so her back was to his chest, she gave up and yawned. “Avenge me.” Dawn put her hand to her head dramatically and she pretended to die, holding her breath and letting her tongue hand loose with her eyes closed.

" Oh, much stronger!" He chuckled, releasing her slightly from his bear-hug so she could roll free. Orrin put his heart over his chest as she pretended to die, fighting back giggles. " You will be missed, my noble Dawn." He declared in an attempt at a somber voice, though the effect was probably ruined by his bubbly laughter. " Will have to bring you back!" Playfully, the merman tickled Dawn's sides with an adorably mischievous grin.

Dawn giggled and tried her best not to shriek when he began to tickle her. She rolled back onto her stomach and she shook her head. “I’m alive! I swear!” She cuddled against him and rested her head on his chest. She somewhat drifted to sleep but she tried her best not to, looking to him here and there. “How do you go to the bathroom?” She asked curiously. This question came out of no where but she was really curious.

Orrin laughed warmly as Dawn giggled and rolled back over to face him. " You're adorable, Dawn" He sighed happily. He hadn't had this much fun in a very long time. The merman wrapped his arms around Dawn cozily, feeling warm and content. Though Orrin and Dawn had only recently met, he felt completely comfortable around her, as if he had known her his entire life. Closing his eyes happily, the warrior rested his head back and felt himself beginning to get drowsy. " Hmm?" Orrin said, chuckling softly at her slightly peculiar question, though he wasn't offended by it," Just the same as everyone else. " He shrugged, yawning softly.

“Though, you have a tail, no? Isn’t it connected to you? Or can you pull it down?” She somewhat chuckled, shaking her head. “I don’t remember seeing a hole in your tail.” Dawn cuddled Into him and yawned. She was known for being trusting, for t was the only thing she could do. She was also a great liar, but for once, she hadn’t lied. Even when she first met him. She could’ve left him and not told him about the humans and if they saw his tail, but she did. She wouldn’t gotten who knows how much money, but she didn’t. Money wouldn’t make her not her Brother happy. Orrin would.

" No, no! " The merman shook his head and tried to stifle his laughter so he could explain, " My tail is a part of me, just like my land-dweller legs. Can't take it off like a silkie's tail." Orrin explained patiently with a slight shrug, " And my fins cover up everything. " He chuckled warmly and snuggled a little closer to Dawn as she yawned. " You are sleepy and you need some rest" He said softly, " Good night Dawn. Sleep well". Orrin planted a soft kiss on her head before settling down and closing his eyes once again. It didn't take very long for him begin to drift off slowly.

“Oh. Okay.” Dawn nodded quietly and she closed her eyes, snuggling into him a bit. The kiss made her heat up and she hid her smile. She wasn’t sure if it was a friend thing or not, but she hadn’t ever really been kissed before like that. Not in an affectionate way anyways... Her body calmed as she fell asleep and hours passed rather quickly. Daniel woke up around 5am and began to cry. He needed his diaper changed and he was hungry. Dawn woke up quickly and she tried slipping away from Orrin to get to daniel in a hurry. She had to get to work, too. Maybe Orrin would want to come?
