" Yeah! They'd like you as much as I do, I think " Orrin said confidently, though truthfully he wasn't sure how his family would react to Dawn being a human. As Dawn left, the warrior crouched down and stayed hidden under the window, keeping a watchful eye for trouble. He was still just a little nervous that the police would return and catch them. As Dawn opened the window, Orrin stood and climbed into the room- or tumbled in rather. He still wasn't exactly used to his new legs just yet, though he was doing much better than before.
Orrin brushed himself off before looking back over at Dawn and her brother. Spotting Daniel, his eyes lit up delightedly, " You didn't tell me he was a tiny land-dweller" The merman said happily, not knowing the word for 'baby'. Already, the small child had won over his heart. Very careful not to startle Daniel, Orrin came over to them to see if Dawn needed any help taking care of him. He didn't know much about human babies, but he had helped his mother take care of his younger siblings when they were children.
