As the sirens passed, Orrin peered around the trash can giving a slight huff in annoyance. He wasn't going to let anyone separate Dawn from him, not even the police. If they were caught, then Dawn and Orrin would most likely be sent back to the hospital, which was the last thing the merman wanted. Even though truthfully, they probably needed to stay at the hospital to let the doctors take care of them. Both of them had been hit pretty hard on the head and Orrin's wounds still hadn't been taken care of. The young merman probably needed a few stitches, but he wasn't going to let a nurse get anywhere near him with a needle if he could help it. Dawn was the only person he would allow to get close enough to him to help him.
Orrin sat back and glanced back at Dawn with a small nod as he suggested they move once the sirens were gone, " Good idea". As he noticed that she was attempting to stand, he immediately went over to offer her support. Gently, he put his arm around her shoulders and let her lean on him if she needed to. " Yeah, ready to go" Orrin replied cheerily, returning her smile, " Come on"
