fiona shrugged. “i was with riley and we were talking, why?” she asked, hoping she didn’t talk aloud.

zach gave a small nod. "you talk in your sleep."

fi’s eyes widened, and she turned red. “what did you hear?” she asked in a high-pitched voice.

"nothing much. only the fact that you like me?" he said, quietly.

fiona blushed harder. “yeah, pretty much.” she shrugged, looking over at him.

"is that true?" zach asked. man, he was tempted to kiss her, but didn't know if he should.

fiona nodded, running a hand through her hair. should she kiss him? she didn’t want to freak him out, yet she found herself leaning in to kiss him. she stopped leaning like an idiot and just kissed him.

zach wasn't expecting that, but found himself kissing her back, smiling widely as he did so.

fiona wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss. she pulled away with a grin. “so, i take it that you like me from the way you kissed me back?”

"well, what do you think?" he questioned with a small grin forming on his lips. "y'know. i broke up with alya because i wanted to ask you out."
