fiona nodded. “how come?” she asked quietly. “you don’t have to tell me, of course. i tend to get nosy.”

"nah. you're fine. to be honest, i really don't know why. i just.. wasn't feeling it, i guess." zach answered, of course he wasn't going to tell fiona that she was the reason him and alya broke up, but for a moment he was seriously considering it.

fiona nodded, running a hand through her hair. “i guess... this would be the perfe-” fi cut herself off. the perfect time to say she liked him?! fiona! he just broke up with alya!

zach raised an eyebrow slightly, turning his head to fiona. "perfect time for what?" he questioned. no way he was letting her get away with not telling him what she was just about to say.

fiona looked away for a moment. “to.. er... order in and watch tv! yeah, thats totally what i was going to say!” she said nervously.

zach nodded slowly. that didn't sound too convincing. "yeah. um. of course?" he said, not completely convinced. "would you like to go back to the dorm? to.. watch tv?"

fiona was blushing and laughing nervously. “yeah.. sure!” she exclaimed in a high-pitched tone, as she usually did when nervous.

zach, once again nodded his head slowly. something seemed off. when fiona talked in a high pitched tone, he kind of knew she was nervous, but about what? that's what he wanted to know. making his way off the bench, he started walking back to the dorm.

fiona was glad he didn’t question her more. “do you wanna order pizza?” she asked once they reached the dorm. she sat on the couch, turning on the tv.

"yeah. sure. what pizza do you want?" he asked, reaching for his phone. "are you sure that was what you were going to say earlier?"
