“your masculinity is fragile. that's hilarious, samurai. it takes like ten minutes.” lance deadpanned, and stood up to search for an elastic band to give to keith. he couldn't find one (to be honest, lance already knew he didn't have one but didn't wanna straight up say no.) “i don't think i do.”

"ten minutes? I could be kissing you right now but this facemask is keeping me from it," he said with a smirk as he sort of started to braid his hair a little bit where it was bunched up. "oh okay, that's fine. you can go into my lion, there should be some on the floor. if you want." he said, returning his hair into the ponytail in his hand.

“off i go, then.” lance left the red lion, making his way over to keith's black lion. he climbed inside and passed by shiro, lingering by him for a few seconds. his eyes turned to the ground and just like keith said, there were some on the floor. he hadn't seen keith put his hair up before, but the idea sounded cute. he picked up a band or two and exited the lion after telling shiro to feel better soon, climbing back into the red lion.

he smiled as he got up to go to his lion, not thinking he would actually go. "thanks.. babe?" he said when he came back with a small giggle. he put his free hand out to take an elastic band from him.

“you're welcome, babe,” lance said teasingly, and sat down beside him. he leaned into him, watching him put up his hair with admiration. “you look great, like a true samurai.”

he put up his hair lazily, a few strands hanging down at the sides of his face. he found it harder to do as he was also trying not to tie up his ears. he was blushing a little bit. "hm, thanks again," he snickered, taking his hands away from his head.

lance reached up to touch keith's face, only to be met with a wet face-mask. he sighed, and waited a few more minutes. once it was dry and ready to take off, lance wiggled back in front of him. “this... this might hurt.” lance warned, starting to peel off the facemask from near the forehead, slowly and carefully.

he winced a small bit as he started to peel it off his face. "it's okay, I tolerate pain very well," he said, crossing his legs and smiling. he shook off the slight pain, remembering that he had experienced worse.

“whatever you say.” lance chuckled, continuing to peel. any hairs, the ones near his forehead, eyebrows and nose were slowly ripped out when lance pulled the face-mask from the skin. once he got to the bottom, he took off the mask and held up the flap of the mask and showed the inside to keith. “all those disgusting looking white dots and flakes? dead skin and the blackheads that you have. gross, right?”

he scrunched up his face as the pain was worse than he thought. he looked at the mask that had previously been on his face. "ew! i don't want to see that!" he said, almost yelling in complete disgust. he looked at lance in the eyes. "never, ever again." he said, a smile growing onto his face as he spoke.
