“yeah.” lance laughed at keith's nervousness and continued. “well, before i got accepted into the garrison and shiro had come to classes to see who should be a pilot, i had really bad acne.” he tilted his head. “when i was told i was accepted into the garrison, i refused to go with acne. so i began trying out skincare products. i mean, feel.” he took keith's hand and pressed it against his face. “it cleared my skin immediately. that's why i use the products so much.”

he smiled, liking the touch of his soft skin against his hand. he picked up his other hand and poked his cheeks. "i won't ruin your skin care stuff," he said with a smile. he couldn't help but laugh at the little story he told. "acne? what an unlucky soul. i never had to deal with that." he said, making his voice softer.

“some people are born blessed. i was not, and i'm never going back to unhealthy skin.” lance shivered at the thought, and laughed when his cheeks were poked. he took keith's hand and turned it over, kissing the back of it gently. “one day i'll force you to wear a face mask.”

"pfft, sure. why not now?" he said with a smirk. "I'll get it over and done with, so i don't need to wait to humiliate myself. it's not like I'll be leaving the lion anyways," he said, smiling as his hand was kissed. he was so happy to have his feelings out to lance, he felt happier this way than before they left for the forest.

“really?? you'd let me? this is great! hold on.” lance got up and rushed out, peeling off the rest of his facemask in the back of the lion. he discarded it outside, and returned. he sat down beside keith and began to grab some facemask stuff. “it'll feel really weird, but that's fine. your skin will be so smooth after!”

he smirked as he watched him rush about. "do it quickly.. my skin is naturally smooth anyways," he said, running one of his own fingers down his cheek. he let out a yawn and rested his head on Lance's shoulder for a breif moment before sitting up straight.

“alright, alright.” once keith was sitting up, lance adjusted to sit in front of him and began to apply the black face mask ontop his face. he made sure to avoid spots where keith's hair fell onto his face, and had to push it back at certain spots. once he was finished, he let out a giggle. “man, you look weird.”

"do you want me to hold my hair back or tie it up or something," he said, grabbing the hair and hung over his face and pushing it backwards. he decided he didn't like the feeling of it at all and just scowled at him. "hey! don't say that! or you'll make me permanently hate these.. face masks." he giggled.

“oh my gosh, calm down. you just have to wait for it to dry.” lance rolled his eyes and fell onto his back, looking up at red's ceiling. he began to hum quietly, and looked at keith. “you're still cute to me, samurai.”

"it's stupid and wet and i can't believe I agreed to this," he said, still holding back his hair. "do you have.. an elastic band or something I can tie my hair with?" he asked him, not bothering to leave the lion and get his own that were scattered just about everywhere. "how long does it take to dry? im losing my masculinity doing this," he said.
