“by the way, red, you were right. it uh, kinda ended up working out.” lance mumbled and went back to his chair, sitting down as the product began to dry. he laid back in the chair and closed his eyes, humming as he waited.

he gave a glance at the cryopod before standing up and leaving his lion- just to give lance back his headphones. "heeeeyyyy.. lancey lance?" he said, stepping into the lion. it always confused him as to why lance used skin products all the time.

“huh?” lance turned around, opening his eyes. he smiled when he saw keith, and stood up out of his chair. “is he awake?” he questioned, walking over to him.

"no, not yet. im just here to-- oh it's pretty hot in here." he said, cutting himself off as he noticed the heat of the lion and fanned his face with his hand in a lame attempt to cool down. "here's your headphones, im no longer a hipster galra," he said, taking them away from his neck and holding them out for him.

“what? oh yeah. red!” lance called, and the temperature of the lion was turned down. he took the headphones that keith held out, careful. “thanks! are you getting lonely in black?” he asked, eyebrow raised as he went to put his headphones down somewhere safely.

"i didn't know this lion had built in heating. do all of the lions have that?" he said, huffing. he crossed his arms a little bit at his next statement. "not lonely- bored," he said with a soft smile.

“dude, red is literally the best lion. it's not my fault black doesn't care about you.” lance waved his hand, and walked back over to keith. he took his arms out of the crossed state they were in to hold his hands, smiling softly at him. “aw, missing me already?”

"black does care about me," he said, about to cross his arms again but his hands were taken. "oh shush~!" he said, placing a kiss on his cheek.

“don't tell me to shush because you know i'm right! and don't you dare wipe off my skin product.” lance laughed, putting his fingers to his cheek momentarily to make sure it hadn't rubbed off. “you know, if that mark on your face is like, a scar, you should probably put some skincare products on it.” lance suggested, and tugged keith over to his skincare pile. “can i treat you? pleeaase?”

"sorry, miss McClain," he snickered teasingly. he put his hand up to his own cheek, touching his galra scar. "what do you mean, 'treat'? if it means putting whatever you have on your face, on my face then no thanks," he said, looking at everything he had, surprised that there was quite a lot.
