"I never said that," he said with a growl and elbowed him in the ribs. "why would i ever have a soft spot for you?" he said, crossing his arms again and giving him his signature: 'shut your face' look.

“ow,” lance whined, rubbing his ribs. it didn't hurt that bad, but he still complained. he leaned on keith, his head flopping onto his shoulder. “but keiiithh...” he drawled, and eventually let his body fall over his lap. “because you think i'm great, amazing, intoxicating, incredible, sharp, beautiful...” he began to list, looking up at him.

[[ he follows shiro to the secret location that contains all shiro's clones where they have the fight, but since that didn't happen we can have the information lance got trace back there and keith can be the one to check it out? ]]

"see? on my lap." he said, flicking his cheek with his fingers. "yeah. greatly annoying, amazingly stupid, not intoxicating, incredibly dumb, you have a sharp chin, and not beautiful," he responded, blowing air into his ear to see what he'd do.

“hey, wait! no!” lance tried to speak over him, faking his offended look. he let out a squeal when air was suddenly blown into his ear, scrambling off keith's lap. he sat at the end of the sofa, away from keith with a pout and crossed arms. “you're cruel, samurai.”

he smirked as he tried to stop him. Keith laughed softly as lance scrambled away with a squeal. "oh god," he snickered. "I'm not cruel, just... Curious." he smiled, going over to sit beside him.

lance opened his mouth to disagree, when allura came back into the room. to be honest, lance hadn't notice she left - was keith that captivating, for him to not notice the world moving around him when the two were involved in a conversation? his attention quickly deterred to allura, who had a serious expression. "paladins, we've successfully decoded the information lance found. it was coordinates to a location we believe shiro is being held at." lance processed this information before speaking, carefully and quietly, “but that wasn't... actually shiro, was it?” he glanced to keith.

Keith looked up when lance did, taking away his attention from the red paladin and changing it to allura. when he heard 'shiro' he was instantly interested in what she was saying. "I'll go check it out." he said, standing up. "what do you mean, lance?" he questioned, glancing at him just to meet his eyes but looked away

nervousness began to tingle in his fingers and belly when keith questioned him, though he knew he had nothing to fear. “when he saved lotor, that wasn't shiro. he would never do that. he wouldn't attack someone like that, especially a paladin.” he rubbed his arm, looking away as he spoke. he remembered being hit by shiro, nearly coughing up blood from the force that was packed into his robot arm. his arms filled with goosebumps and his throat seemed to close, but he fought the feeling and continued. “if it wasn't shiro... then maybe, this is a trap?”

he nodded in agreement. "yeah, i remember. shiro isn't like that. our shiro. but im going regardless if it's a trap or not, it's worth it to see if it's really him," he said, looking back down at lance who seemed to look a small bit frightened from his goosebumps.
