lance stretched his arm over keith, his sleepy smile only growing when keith kissed his cheek, though it didn’t wake him up. lance only fell into a deeper sleep.

he lay in silence and smiled as he felt an arm around him. he eventually fell asleep, the thoughts that always clouded his mind as he tried to sleep were gone, and he was trying to enjoy the rest he was getting. he woke up a few hours later, his face beside lances and his legs over his lap. his arms were around lance- one of them anyways, and his other just in a natural position. he had no idea what time it was, but he didn't really care.

lances eyes were closed, but he was awake. he could feel keith’s body warmth, confirming that the boy hadn’t left, and felt him shift as he woke up. his eyes opened slowly, adjusting to the lighting as he looked at keith. “is it time to get up?” lance asked sleepily, bringing a hand up to rub his eyes.

he let his eyes adjust to the lighting in the room. "i don't know. maybe?" he said in a rough and groggy morning voice. he wanted to get up, but at the same time he wanted to stay with lance here forever.

lance began to sit up, yawning, and once he felt ready he attempted to stand. attempted because, well, he forgot his body was weak and ended up plopping back onto the bed. “ah... well, i tried. guess i gotta stay here forever.” lance joked.

"where do you want to go?" he asked, watching him stand up but fall back down again. he stood up, a little shaky because, well, he just slept beside his crush. he stood in front of where he was laying down, offering his hands to him to get up.

lance took his hands with a shy smile, standing up with keith’s help. he thought for a second, then replied, “we should go find everyone else. they might think we’re dead.” he said, and released one of keith’s hands, but kept the other.

"yeah, let's go to the lounge. or are you hungry?" he asked, hearing his own stomach grumble. he usually skipped breakfast, so he ignored the sign of hunger. he held onto lance with the one hand, making sure he wouldn't fall.

lance heard keith’s stomach grumble and couldn’t help but chuckle. “yeah, we’ll get breakfast first.” he decided. his legs has some more strength than yesterday, so walking was easier. he opened his door and took keith into the hallway, ready to go.

he smiled as he followed him out into the hallway. "you will be getting breakfast," he said, looking down at the floor. usually he would wake up, go train, have a shower and by the time he was done it was lunch.
