he put down his fists and shook his hand. he rested his hands on his hips instead, then got an idea. ‟why don’t we just use our rocket boosters? stupid maze can’t handle that! lance activated his suit boosters, which brought him up into the air. ‟keith, look! it’s working! im so smart, now we’re totally gonna wi—“ lance was cut off by the top of the invisible maze zapping him, and he fell on top of keith.

he smirked, also turning on his boosters. he was just about to fly up to him but a sudden weight fell onto him. "a great idea, McClain," he said sarcastically, pushing him to the side and then brushing himself off.

lance huffed, rolling over and laying there for a few seconds before getting up. ‟yeah, well, i still thought of it and you didn’t. i win.” he began to walk down the left side of the maze, not waiting for keith. ‟come and join the winning side, keith!“

he just sighed. he nodded and followed him unwillingly. "you sure? This better be the right way," he says, his arms crossing as he walks behind him.

lance nodded, confident. ”yeah, i totally saw when i was up in the air.” he assured keith, only to walk into the maze wall. it was a dead end. ‟what the quiznak?“

Keith laughed softly when lance walked into the invisible maze wall. "I guess we turn around and go right?" he said, still laughing a little bit.

”i guess so... stop laughing at me. i'm in pain.” lance huffed, rubbing his head. his cut from yesterday was beginning to hurt, but it'd probably stop after a while. lance took keith's arm and began pulling him back, going the right way instead. ‟do you think the others made it out yet?“

"eh, maybe. i say allura knows the way out," he said, ignoring his other statement and letting him pull him along. "you need to find the walls and put your hands against them, so if there's a turn you can locate it," he said, reaching his arm out and finding a wall. he ran his hand along the wall as he was pulled.

”yeah, well... i knew that!” lance snapped, squeezing wrist. he raised his free hand and began to do the same as keith, stopping abruptly. ‟there's a turn here.“

"ow, that hurt," he said when he squeezed his wrist. when he said hurt, he kicked him in the leg, hard. "then let's go that way then," he said, avoiding looking at him.
