”it's not my decision, and i'm not gonna stop you if you decide to leave... but you should know that you will always have a home here. no matter what.” lance smiled softly, then looked away at the mention of red. ”red's... great, you know? but she wasn't made for me. i think blue was made for me. is that stupid? obviously she wasn't, but... i do love blue. i think you're meant for red and i'm meant for blue. i'm just hoping everything will go back to normal soon.” he sighed.

"maybe ask allura if you can have a ride in blue some time? if you'd like- i mean," he said, his smile returning to his face as he ran his hands through his mullet. "thanks, I guess. I'm glad to hear that someone cares that I am here."

”yeah, no problem.” lance yawned halfway through his sentence, stretching. ”we've been in here for ages. do you think we should make sure everyone else is okay?”

"I'm sure they're fine, but yeah, we should get out of here." he said, hopping off the counter. he rested his eyes on Lance's scar on his forehead.

”no one's ever fine without lance.” lance joked, putting on an angelic face for a moment and pretending he didn't see keith looking at his scar. he left the bathroom after, making sure keith was following before going into the castle's lounge, where he found hunk, pidge and allura. "where were you guys? we thought you left the castle or something. we couldn't find you." hunk questioned, glancing between the two. lance smiled, and ran a hand through his hair. ”oh, you know, we were just talking about how hot i am─”

he sighed. "yeah totally," he said. he followed after him and hunk to the castles lounge. "no we weren't, I was helping him clean his wound. he should be alright though," he said.

”were you worried about me, hunk? that's so sweet─” lance was cut off by a piece of food goo being flung at him, hitting his cheek. he responded by liking it off, then putting his hands on his hips. ”alright, fine. but keith is lying ─ he called me beautiful McClain. i heard it with my own ears.”

"yeah, as a joke!" he said, chuckling at him when the green food goo was flung at his face. in his opinion, the food goo was disgusting- he didn't like it.

”he admits it!! keith and lance, once enemies, now best friends! what will the world do, with such a twist of events?” lance twirled over to keith, and put a hand on his shoulder. his free hand went from left to right in a wide motion as he said 'the world', and he plopped a kiss on keith's cheek. ”look at that. we're getting along already, keith!”

he was smiling slightly as lance was making his statement. his body decided to freeze up when his cheek was kissed. he looked at lance. "what did I do to deserve that?" he said, wiping his cheek with his hand and then wiping it on lance's face.
