marcella nodded. “i can’t find one that i tust enough. i have trust issues.” she shrugged, “i need to, though. obviously.” she said with a chuckle.

river shrugged in response. "well, you can't just immediately trust a stranger. just find one you like, and go from there." he advised, shrugging once more and putting his cup in the sink.

marcella nodded. “pretty wise, huh?” she asked with a grin. she scrolled through her phone. “oh this therapist was good.” she said to herself and shrugged

river watched as she went on her phone, shaking his head in amusement and turning to the stairs. "goodnight." he called over his shoulder, heading up and into his room once more.

marcella eventually went to bed. she fell asleep a while later. the next morning, she woke up and walked downstairs. she decided to make everyone pancakes and smiled as she fried them.

michelle and her husband, joshua, were already awake and sitting on the couch, watching what was on tv. turning her head, she smiled gently to marcella. "good morning. we have shifts later on in the morning, so we'll be able to spend some time with you all before we go, today."

marcella smiled, placing a hand over her eye, as if she were rubbing it. she didn’t want michelle fussing over a black eye again. “that’s great. i’m making pancakes.” she said with a grin.

michelle smiled and nodded her head. "im sure those will go quick." she spoke with a soft laugh. river soon came down the stairs, still half asleep and tired. "morning." he greeted, opening the fridge.

marcella smiled and laughed. “good morning.” she said, putting the pancakes onto a plate. “i’m going to make an appointment with a therapist.” she told him. sje didn’t know if she would though.

river stole a pancake, taking a seat at the counter and nodding at her words. "that's good. you should." he murmured, beginning to eat the pancake and rubbing his eyes whilst doing so.
