The year starts out as normal as possible, but when a strange new face shows up and everyone realizes they are a transfer student from far off lands, rumors start to flutter the corridors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Who are they? Why did they transfer? Could they have anything to do with He-who-must-not-be-named? However, that is not all that is new to Hogwarts this year. Oh no. It's been announced that the school will host the Tri-Wizard tournament along with two other schools from around the globe. How will the transfer student handle being thrown into such a chaotic school year? Will they be able to manage? And what will happen when their old friends show up from their original school? Only time will tell. But one thing is certain, there is something amiss about Hogwarts this year. Something that could turn the wizarding world upside down. Here's hoping that this new transfer student can overcome all odds, make new friends, and just maybe solve the mysteries lurking within the great castle that is Hogwarts.

Avery is usually sporting the usual Hogwarts uniform of a simple black robe with her House colors of green and silver. This is the norm for every student, except outside of lessons and during free periods. She also always keeps her black pointed hat with her, stuffed into one of her robe's inner pockets, because she hates actually having to wear it as it poofs her already messy red hair. Her style is all over the place when it comes to fashion. She likes just about everything when it comes to clothes and shoes, with a large wardrobe to choose from so she never seems to be wearing the same outfit twice.

Personality: Avery is a very opinionated young woman and will stand up for anyone she deems as a friend, despite house or social status. Even going toe to toe with bullies, even if this means she, in turn, gets the brunt of the attack meant for someone else. She's extremely outgoing and oddly friendly for one who calls themselves a Slytherin. A lot of her peers call her the black sheep of her house and that she should have been placed somewhere else, as she is ruining their reputation. However, as much as this should deter her, it doesn't. Avery strives to do her best in anything and everything thrown her way and will give one hundred percent effort on her part in any situation. Though she may have a sense of street smarts about her, Avery does lack book smarts. Meaning, she has a hard time studying and retaining the information given to her, even if she just read it. She also has a hard time when it comes to humor, sometimes taking things a bit too seriously. But, all in all, Avery Addams is a die-hard friend to have on your side, especially in a tight situation.
