Duck smiled a little. "I know but I don't like being a burden. Who knows, you might have already taken over if I wasn't here too slow you down."

[Light Bringer]

"But then I'd be alone again, or more like still. I'd still be alone if it weren't for you. You should know that you're not a burden. You never have been and you never will be."

Duck smiled wider and hugged Drake. "You know just the right things to say. I'd be alone. or worse, without you." Duck said, hugging Drake tighter.

[Light Bringer]

Drake smiled back, hugging and burying his face in Duck's shoulder. "I'm glad that we met." He mumbled.

[Piera]

"Me too." Duck mumbled back. "Even if I almost had a heart attack and thought I was gonna get murdered." He chuckled slightly.

[Light Bringer]

Drake chuckled a little at that. "You quickly learnt that I wouldn't hurt you though, right?"

"Well I wasn't too sure, I thought when we killed Caine and you wanted to see the Gaiaphage you were just lying and planning to dump me in the desert with the coyotes. Of course, after we made it to the shack and....got close, I changed my tune. "

[Light Bringer]

"Yeah, I can see why you probably thought that at first." Drake commented. "You don't know how happy it makes me that you changed your tune like you did."

"Mhh or I could be playing the long con and waiting for the perfect moment to enact my plan to overthrow you when you least expect it." Duck shrugged.

[Light Bringer]

"I call bull with that one. You've had plenty of chances to overthrow me or even kill me, yet I'm still here. Besides, you do that and then you'll have no one to cuddle with."
