"What if someone else thought the same and poisoned you or më?"

"Well that wouldn't be so fun but, despite what everyone tells you, revenge is always the solution. So we'd get them back and then I'd be happy."

"Wouldn't be too great if one of us died from it."

[Light Bringer]

"I wouldn't let that happen."

"I know you wouldn't Drakey." Duck smiled.

[Light Bringer]

Drake smiled back. "Like I said. No one wpuld dare lay a finger on you. I wouldn't let them."

[Piera]

"Well technically, poisoning me wouldn't be laying a finger on me but I'd be more worried about you. You're a bigger target than me."

[Light Bringer]

"Yeah but I'm sure that people back at Coates now know that you're my weakness. They get you and they know I wouldn't risk doing anything."

[Piera]

Duck never really thought about it but he was a prime target for anyone trying to get to Drake. At least no one in Perdido Beach was aware that Drake and him were together. "As if I need more reasons to be paranoid."

[Light Bringer]

"Just remember that you've got me looking out for you. Right now, protecting you is my top priority." Drake said.
