The look humans got when being drunk from, another side effect from the venom to lessen any struggle, which was good for both parties, since it made for an easier meal as well as less damage to the human. It was nearly like being drugged, some humans could resist it though, some it had no effect on, others were strongly affected, like Jess it seemed. She was blissful after the initial bite, which was a good thing, but hopefully it wouldn't last too long. Once Jess had kind of snapped out of it and headed downstairs, Anora exhaled and laid her head back down on the mattress.

Anora remained upstairs of course, closing her eyes so she could focus soley on what was going on downstairs, just in case she had to interfer to protect the young woman who had saved her. She had to give it to her, she certainly was a good actor, and excellent at playing the damsel in distress, and thankfully the men seemed to buy it. She listened as they prefessed their concern for her before hurrying off to go chase the phantom vampire that was supposedly headed to down. She couldn't help but chuckle a little to herself as she sat up a little and watched as Jess's head popped up into the loft, the vampiress smiled at her lightly, "Come here, I will close the scratch." she said softly.

It startled her a little how much blood she smelled from the human, especially since she wasn't exactly the healthiest specimen, she needed to keep most of that blood inside herself. She made herself sit up, wincing a little as the movement stretched the now healing wound. "Thank you, for helping me." she said, she knew those men could have hurt her as well, but thankfully they seemed to be some of the saner hunters, which was good. The vampiress ran a hand through her hair, trying to get some of the straw out of it, since she hated having mussed up hair. "I must say you did an excellent job down there, you played the damsel perfectly." she told her as she looked at the mess she had made on the mattress with her blood, that was problematic..

Although she wasn't the most well off creature, she seemed to have a bit more at her disposal then Jess did, and she'd repay her for her kindness. She smiled a bit at the other girl, her fangs gone now since she was healing and she was feeling much better then she had been. She was still going to need more blood, but she wasn't in dire need anymore and wouldn't die if she didn't get blood, but she would need to go out and hunt that night, or she'd start feeling the poisoning effects of her own venom. But at the moment she returned her focus to the other woman, who had so kindly saved her, even after she found out what she was.

When she saw that the vampire was safe, Jess was relieved. Though logically she knew that there really wasn't a high chance of the woman not being okay, but for some reason she was still worried about the woman she had just met...and decided on not killing...in less than an hour. Man, of all the mornings she'd had, this one definitely is up there on being one of the weirder ones. She felt like hours had passed, but really everything that had taken place was probably not even an hour of her morning, which meant she still had to deal with Mr. Harper coming by. That is a whole mess she didn't think about.

She really should have stayed in bed.

She returned the smile with a slightly wary one of her own, not quite trusting this strange woman, but not altogether hostile either. She had honestly almost forgotten about the scratch before the vampire offered to heal it. It really was a wonder that she could be dripping blood and yet totally forget about it. "It looks worse than it is...but you probably know that, being the blood expert or whatever." She tried to explain, blushing once again at her idiot stuttering. She really needed to get a grip, she's twenty-four, not some nervestruck teenager. She's been through a lot worse in her life than an encounter with a vampire for heaven's sake.

Her pep talk wasn't really that effective as it turns out, because as soon as the vampire complimented her she was back to being a blushing embarrassment. "Er, you kinda got learn that well to get a sympathetic meal when you need it most. You'd be surprised how many people buy into it." She explained, using her good arm to scratch the top of her head in embarrassment. She didn't like to talk about her well...less fortunate life, especially at times like these, but how could it not come up when that is what she's living?

Speaking of living, Jess caught the vampires gaze looking at her bloodstained sheets and just gave a quick shrug. "Don't worry about it. They're ratty old blankets anyways, I'll scrape together the change to replace them later. But they're fine right now." She paused, remembering the wound that caused the blood in the first place.

"Oh shoot, you're probably still bleeding yeah? I've uh, well I don't really know how vampire bodies you know, work...but I've got a needle and thread I can use to try and fix the wound?" She suggested, a little unsure of herself. She didn't have much, that last bit of thread was going to be used in a desperate attempt to keep her clothes together, but it would be worth it to stitch up this poor girl..er, vampire. She was sure that she would be able to use some of her spare pay to replace all this. Besides, even if she couldn't, she'd gone with much less and ended up fine before.

"I'm Jessica by the way. But you can just call me Jess." She gave the vampire a shy smile. "I uh, don't think I ever intoduced myself through all the chaos." She explained, realizing that she also didn't know this vampires name.

Man was she bad at meeting new people.

When the woman blushed, Anora just smiled, she really was adorable, she must still be feeling the after effects of the venom. When Jess aquiesced to having the wound sealed, she gently took the woman's arm aand licked the scratches, seeling them up and cleaning up some of the blood as well. As the stable hand kept speaking, and seemed embaressed, Anora chuckled softly, "Do not feel embaressed, we all do what we have to to survive." she said as she released Jess's arm from her hold.

As Jess contiinued speaking, telling her not to worry about it, she was already digging in the pocket of her breaches, very unladylike, but she didn't care. She pulled out a pouch, "Here, for your trouble." she said, it wasn't much, but it was still about a months worth of wages for Jess. The vampiress had time, as well as nimble fingers, but most of that money lood, was honestly earned from odd jobs she had taken in her travels.

At the mention of her blood, Anora looked at her side, "Ah yes, don't worry about that, I will heal, and my body will just reject the thread anyway and it will just waste energy." she said as she began to undo her blouse. She slipped it off, exposing her corset, which now had a tear in it, to which she made a "tch-ing" sound. She huffed and unlaced the corset, leaving her in her undershirt, to which she lifted the stained side up, exposing the wound which was already closing, "I will be fine in about an hour." she said, using her ruined blouse to press against the injury so that she didn't bleed any more on the soiled blankets.

When the woman finally said her name, Anora smiled, "Hess, what a lovely name." she said, "I'm Anora, you can call me Anora." she said with a soft chuckle. "Thank you for all your assistance, hopefully you don't mind me lingering here for a little while while my side finishes healing?" she asked as she looked over at Jessica, studying her a moment.
