The look humans got when being drunk from, another side effect from the venom to lessen any struggle, which was good for both parties, since it made for an easier meal as well as less damage to the human. It was nearly like being drugged, some humans could resist it though, some it had no effect on, others were strongly affected, like Jess it seemed. She was blissful after the initial bite, which was a good thing, but hopefully it wouldn't last too long. Once Jess had kind of snapped out of it and headed downstairs, Anora exhaled and laid her head back down on the mattress.
Anora remained upstairs of course, closing her eyes so she could focus soley on what was going on downstairs, just in case she had to interfer to protect the young woman who had saved her. She had to give it to her, she certainly was a good actor, and excellent at playing the damsel in distress, and thankfully the men seemed to buy it. She listened as they prefessed their concern for her before hurrying off to go chase the phantom vampire that was supposedly headed to down. She couldn't help but chuckle a little to herself as she sat up a little and watched as Jess's head popped up into the loft, the vampiress smiled at her lightly, "Come here, I will close the scratch." she said softly.
It startled her a little how much blood she smelled from the human, especially since she wasn't exactly the healthiest specimen, she needed to keep most of that blood inside herself. She made herself sit up, wincing a little as the movement stretched the now healing wound. "Thank you, for helping me." she said, she knew those men could have hurt her as well, but thankfully they seemed to be some of the saner hunters, which was good. The vampiress ran a hand through her hair, trying to get some of the straw out of it, since she hated having mussed up hair. "I must say you did an excellent job down there, you played the damsel perfectly." she told her as she looked at the mess she had made on the mattress with her blood, that was problematic..
Although she wasn't the most well off creature, she seemed to have a bit more at her disposal then Jess did, and she'd repay her for her kindness. She smiled a bit at the other girl, her fangs gone now since she was healing and she was feeling much better then she had been. She was still going to need more blood, but she wasn't in dire need anymore and wouldn't die if she didn't get blood, but she would need to go out and hunt that night, or she'd start feeling the poisoning effects of her own venom. But at the moment she returned her focus to the other woman, who had so kindly saved her, even after she found out what she was.
