" I-i don't really know... can't everyone see you?" He asked unsurely, a little worried by Rose's obvious panic. Takumi took a few cautious steps back in an attempt to make her feel less threatened, though nothing much about the small young man was particularly threatening. Truthfully, Takumi was less threatening than overgrown puppy. He was a rather short, handsome man barely out of his teens, wearing a paint-stained sweater that was far too big for him. His olive green eyes were still wide with surprise as he stared at the ghost fascinatedly instead of being afraid of her.

Rose calmed down a little seeing the young man take a few steps back.
"No... No one sees me. You're the first person that has ever made face to face contact with me before... And I've been here for a very long time."
She slowly moved towards him, curiously watching his every movement. Her graceful feet touched the floor and her white dress settled in place. So much time has passed since she talked to a breathing human being. It felt extraordinary. The moon beamed through the open window and illuminated the floor, whilst a gentle breeze playfully moved around the silk curtains.

" Really? That... sounds awful" Takumi said sympathetically, frowning a bit. He couldn't imagine not being able to talk to anyone for as long as she had. The young man stayed still as she came closer, so he didn't accidentally frighten her again. A small smile tugged at his lips, " But, at least you have me to talk to now, eh?" He offered with a small chuckle, " I don't know if I'm much of a conversationalist though." Rubbing the back of his neck shyly, unsure exactly sure what to say to a ghost that hadn't spoken to anyone in years.

She watched his expression change, he seemed to be pretty calm about this whole situation. Every facial feature suited him perfectly and that small grin made things even better. She looked over at his leg, where a large leg brace hugged it tightly. All that looking made her also notice a few freckles on his face... She decided not to ask any questions about the brace. Instead she calmly asked:
"Are you not afraid of me?"

" Nah, I'm not really afraid of you" Takumi admitted, giving a slight shrug. " I mean, if you had wanted to hurt me or really scare me, I'm sure you would have done it by now. Besides, you seemed more startled to see me than I was of you." He smiled at Rose a bit more with an amused sparkle in his big green eyes. " I've never met a real apparition before. It's kind of exciting. " Takumi noticed how she glanced at his leg brace, though he didn't bring it up either. It was too much of a painful memory to share with a complete stranger.

Rose noticed his smile and beamed back at him. She didn't smile for so long, that it hurt her small, soft lips when she finally did so. "Well, my name is Rose." She looked at the young man. "And... I'm sorry... I was the one that moved your furniture." She looked down, a bit embarassed. "You have a nice taste in furniture by the way... The previous owners knew nothing about house decor!" She huffed a little and smiled slightly again, remembering the old times.

" It's a pleasure to meet you, Rose" He said, smiling warmly back at her, " That's a very pretty name by the way.". Surprisingly, Takumi felt completely relaxed around Rose; she seemed very nice despite everything that had happened. As she mentioned the moved furniture, his eyes sparkled amusedly, giving him the look of an overexcited puppy. " That was you? " Takumi laughed warmly and gave a small dismissive wave " Nah, don't worry about it. There wasn't any harm done." He glanced over at his living room with a pleased smile as Rose complimented his taste in furniture. " Well, thanks! I rather like my furniture, but I must admit- I'm an artist, not an interior decorator" Takumi chuckled warmly

As Takumi complimented her name, she smiled and her cheeks grew a slight shade of pink.
"Thank you. It was after my grandmother."
She was surprised that Takumi took her little prank so well. Gee, he even seemed excited about it. As he told her about his passion, she could not help but be excited.
"Really?? I love art! I bet you I could recreate every painting in these apartment corridors. I see them way to much, kinda gets boring after a while though."

"You're very welcome" He smiled at her with his usual cheerful grin. Takumi already liked hanging out with Rose, despite her being a ghost. Of course, he had heard stories about scary ghosts, but Rose wasn't like that at all. Rose seemed to be very sweet and kind-hearted; truthfully, she wasn't very frightening at all. Takumi's eyes lit up delightedly as Rose mentioned that she loved art. " Really? That's amazing!" He said excitedly, " Hey! Would you like to see come of my paintings?"

Rose pressed her hands on her cheeks in excitement. "I-I'd love to!"
She blushed a bit. She felt liked. Rose still wasn't sure if this was a dream or not. How can someone as nice and bubbly as Takumi exsist! Phh... How can someone as nice as Takumi ever like ghosts. She must be dreaming. Surely.
Rose pinched her hand really hard and squeeled slightly when she felt the pain. "No,this is real" she thought to herself.
