"I've got one free." Elias shrugged. He followed Neveah's gaze to Ebony, who was crawling about under the table, occasionally reaching up to snatch a bit of food. Elias' frowned. "That's Ebony, don't mind her." He said, dismissing any discussion regarding the girl. "Wendy," He said, tapping her shoulder. "Can you get Neveah something for her back, please?"
Wendy huffed.
"Come on Elias, I've got other kids to worry about." Wendy said, standing. "Maybe she could just-"
"Wendy." Elias gave her a stern look. "She has suffered just as much as the others, if not more. Now please, stop stalling and help her out."
Again, Wendy huffed, rolling her eyes but finally giving in.
"Fine, fine. I'll be right back." She said, disappearing onto the deck.
"Don't mind her." Elias sighed. "She just gets worried."
"More like jealous." Brandy snickered, walking past with a mouthful of food.
"Hush up, Brandy." Elias glared at her, though he wasn't all that upset. He had no interest in Neveah, other than helping her recover and getting her off his ship.

Nevaeh frowned as she listened to the two aruge before taking a swig of what ever was in the bottle in front of her before spitting it out as a sudden flashback hit her. Jayben had walked into the room with a cup in his hand as he gave it to her to drink. It had a taste of cough syrup to it and she spit it out before her vision blurr. She then had heard her brother say. "I can't kill you, so this is the next best thing." And then what felt like a moment she woke up in front of her old captor.Nevaeh spit out her drink before her eyes widened. "He did this to me.. I thought he loved me..." Tears started to roll down her cheeks. "He was too chicken to kill me... So he gave me worse...."

Elias jumped as she spit out the drink, and several kids yelped in surprise.
“Woah!” Elias stared as Neveah mumbled to herself, glancing at Brandy. Brandy returned to Neveah’s side, putting a hand on her shoulder once again.
“Neveah, what’s wrong?” She said, sliding the drink away from the girl. “Do you not like it?”

Nevaeh shook her head still in her daze before looking at Brandy. "I just want to go lay down... And have some water..." She whispered and stood up before turning around smacking into Maverick. "D-Don't hurt me I'm sorry." She said and then backed up tripping over her own chair before Bumping into Wendy. "I'm sorry."

"Hey," Maverick stepped to the side, tossing a grape into his mouth. "Watch it!" He said, mouth full. He moved out of the way, leaning against the wall and chuckling at the way Wendy handled the situation. Her hissy fits were amusing, to say the least.
Wendy frowned at her, refusing to move back and thus causing Neveah to stumble away.
"Here's the salve." She said, handing Neveah a small bottle. "Rub it on your back where it hurts, but don't use it all. That stuff is expensive."
"Thank you, Wendy." Elias said, half annoyed, half relieved that she was doing what he asked. "Brandy, would you show Neveah to her room, please?"
"Right away, Slay." Brandy nodded, motioning for Neveah to follow her out the open door. She led the way out of the cabin and onto the deck, climbing the nearest staircase towards the upper cabins.

Nevaeh followed Brandy tears still falling from her eyes. "W-Why does Wendy hate me?" She asked her as she laid in her hammock .The next morning Nevah woke up and went to find Wendy. "So where are we going? Like do you ever go on dry land?" She asked as thunder roared in the distance.

"Wendy doesn't hate you." Brandy answered. "She just..." Here, she waved her hand. "Strongly dislikes you. It's normal; she'll get over it." She said, pouring some water into a wooden cup and handing it to Neveah. "Here you go."

Wendy turned to face Neveah, looking none too pleased at the sight of her. "Why do you want to know?" She asked, crossing her arms and learning against a sailpost.

Nevaeh frowned and looked at Wendy. "I just wanted to know." She muttered and jumped as thunder roared. "I'll go ask Eric." She said and went to Maverick before taking a deep breath in and tapping his shoulder. "Eric, may I ask you something?" She then covered her face expecting to be hit.

“Yeah, you do that.” Wendy muttered, then continued on her way.
Maverick whirled around, his arms coming up beside him, and tilted his head to the side as he faced her. “Who?” He blinked in confusion, studying her for a moment. “Aye, you look a bit nervous there, lass. But I won’t hurt you. Who,” He glanced around. “Is Eric?”

Nevaeh frowned suddenly and looked at him. "I-isnt that your name? Or what was it?" She asked him utterly confused before sighing. "Well anyways, do we ever go to try land?" She asked him and twirled her hair. "And I'm sorry for bumping into you..."
