Magnus - 20 - Vampire - Location: Downtown
"Ah." He said flipping the menu over back to the side where he saw it. Magnus took his time, seeking out the least grossest thing that would come up later. He decided to stick with something simple. "Guess i'll get the fried rice." He slid the menu over to the edge of the table for the waiter to take whenever they came back with the drinks. "Sooo, tell me about yourself. You seem to be a fascinating girl so far having met you in the woods with a weapon and dark clothing. You're also a feisty one at that." He eyed her knowingly, "I saw fear in your eyes but you were prepared to fight if needed." He leaned back in the seat with his arms crossed loosely. "I don't blame you though. You were in a bad situation that became worse when I showed up." He waved his hand passively and gave a lopsided grin without his teeth showing.
Jace - 22 - Human - Location: Work Place
"Well... hopefully not anytime soon, now. It's a new model bought from the dealership." He said with a playful smile. "Don't we all." Jace said about video games. It was something he grew up doing to pass the time as his mother wasn't around, had no friends, and school was out. "But drawing eh?" Jace didn't want to give away how interested he was in meeting someone who enjoys creating art no matter what style or what it was. He kept his tone the same but his eyes lightened up, "Well, about drawing. What of?" He asked a simple question and didn't want to go into canvases, mediums, and such just yet. He noted that the place was getting crowded and noisy as the sun set farther and farther.
The large windows gave view of perfect sunsets where the tallest sky scrapers were off in the distance not too far. Their many windows would reflect the beautiful colors and later turn to blue and finally to black as the night would creep into full swing. Jace looked back at Tom. He was enjoying this conversation much more than he expected and how the man seemed to be more like him in ways he didn't imagine.
