Magnus - 20 - Vampire - Location: Outskirt City Woods
Magnus had opened up the email and uploaded the file. The file was encrypted with special protection. It struck him as odd especially what was typed out before him. It read:
Magnus,
I want you to set out to this location as soon as you read this. It is of utmost importance and must be dealt with. I advise you take the weapon in the center drawer of your desk.
Do take it. Head there now. And meet me at this location tomorrow morning: ...
Destination: ...
Magnus was perplexed. His brows furrowed together as he re-read the screen at least three times. "The amount of effort put into this file and for so simple of a message..." He rolled back in the chair and opened the drawer. "WHAT?!" He pushed it shut quickly the fowl odder and burning sensation started to set in his eyes. He opened the drawer more carefully and inside was garlic tied together and a gun beneath it. "He wants me dead. This is what he wants. To kill me." He ran his fingers through his hair, foofing the front part. He rolled his eyes in disbelief and brought out his phone, typing the directions in the navigation. "And now he wants me to go into the middle of nowhere." He said as the navigation read how many miles it was away. It lead to the woods on the outskirts of the City. "Great." He thought of just walking out on the job because of how ridiculous this was. He knew this wasn't in the job description and wondered what this actually was for. "I got nothing and yet everything to lose." He took a tissue and took up the garlic, hiding it in an inner pocket of the jacket. "Like, what use is this for other than myself?" He thought as he reached for the pistol. He's dealt with them before several times in his life. It was often just to win at Russian roulette though did he handle one. He would always win, of course, he can't die from a bullet. He stuffed it in his coat pocket and headed off grumbling to himself about how this was insane.
Magnus had now reached the destination, having taken his car. He somewhat had wished he had chosen the option of having a personal driver now that he thought about it. "Wasting gas going all the way to this place." He said slamming the car door. He followed the GPS into the woods now, still in his suit and tie. He was not prepared for this besides the gun.
He traveled deeper and his senses kicked in. The smells, sounds, and sights of moving creatures. His scent caught him by surprise though. A fresh smell of human had been through this spot not too long ago. He looked down at where the grass was still compressed flat where the person's foot prints were left. He followed them now where the smell started to gain more potency. He came around a tree and there lay a girl collapsed to the ground. "She wears such dark clothing and black leather for that matter. This is what is to be expected on a day like this." He took a couple steps closer so that she lay before his feet. He could tell her heartbeat was still there, he could hear it. He gritted his teeth, thinking of what to do. "Agh..." He reached down to pick her up in his arms. She was nothing for him to handle. He walked back out of the woods and placed her to lay on the back seat gently in the car out of the heat and had both rear windows rolled down so she wouldn't be terribly hot. Magnus then locked the car and headed back into the woods. "Hopefully she's awake by the time i'm back or I have no idea what i'm going to do." He thought as he looked back, already out of view from the tree line but still able to see his vehicle.
Jace - 22 - Human - Location: Coffee Shop
He saw his nod and then the man gave him an answer. "Candy Crush, huh. "Hmm, well that's a popular one I've noticed. With all the commercials and such. Haven't gotten the chance to play it."He admitted with a shrug. He noted that it was polite of him to put away the phone and perked up a little that he was going to continue on conversation. He sat up straighter and took a sip of his coffee. "Are you waiting for someone? I noticed you don't have a coffee or anything." He asked, assuming that the man was waiting for someone before getting something for himself or to possibly pay for both.
