Magnus - 20 - Vampire - Location: Work
Magnus opened the double doors with both arms extended. He had to do it himself, while the CEO has his '
butlers' do it. Though, they were not the old man kind, more like hired babe's for their looks. Magnus let the self closing doors go and clapped his hands together as he walked, surveying his entirely windowed room. He was just a floor below the CEO office and someday hoped to achieve such luxury. It would be his greatest achievement yet. "
This will do. For now." He thought as he ran a finger along the blood-red velveted chair. "
Fitting." He thought as he looked about.
This was his new office, his first time being part of the corporate center committee for their real-estate agency. They build top dollar homes amongst growing or populated cities. Magnus was proud of himself for where he was now. So many years wasted on hard work when it was so simple to take someone's SS card and re-write himself as just out of the teen years and have a hacker create a highly replicated identity to that who was born into the United States, 20, and had gone to two universities in different states. He looked out the window, standing near its edge looking down. It reminded him of all the triumphs and hardships to make it.
Then he walked leisurely to his desk, an ornate black gothic table. His boss, Darek Nikolaev, had given him his own designers to adorn him and his new commodities. Darek liked him for whatever reason Magnus was not too sure. Custom suits, interior designer, and even offered to have someone drive him around for work reasons, which, Magnus had declined and took upon himself to go car shopping. Everything was in place, now he just awaited for his boss to enter. Magnus glanced at the files on his desk while he waited.
Jace - 22 - Human - Location: Coffee Shop
Jace looked over the coffees, not really having a particular preference and took up a hazelnut mocha without sugar. He looked around as is coffee was being made. He was familiar with this place and it was always bustling with people. There were no spots in the shade, which he would prefer as the hot sun and the warm glass and a hot cup of coffee wasn't ideal. He looked around at the booths that were full as well and frowned. The only single spot available was next to a dirty-blond haired guy who he hasn't seen look up from his phone since he entered. He got his coffee first before he would take upon the chair across the table. He waited, got the coffee, and walked over. "
Mind if I sit here?" He asked, awaiting a response if he even would get one.
