"Her home was burned down with her inside." murmured Maria, "That's why she gave up. She didn't want to be burned again... frankly I don't blame her." She then nodded some. "We did fight well." she murmured, "Even though he cheated."

Mary glared at the humans as she curled her tail under her body. She was frightened as she knew what was going to happen now that they knew. Teddy had planned on getting her back fixed, but died before doing so. It wasn't often that she felt fear, but it was clear when she did feel it. "No, I don't want it." she said lowly.

Houndour chuckled, "He just was doing his job." he said as he looked over at her, "So don't take it too personally." he told her. As she told him about Alessa, he nodded, "I can understand that." he replied.

"Why don't you want it?" he asked softly as he looked at her, "It will make you feel better, you won't be in pain anymore." he said gently.

"I don't, but I think Alessa does." murmured Maria, shrugging some, "She sort of trusts him, but that's only because Lusamine will come to her defense." She shut her sapphire eyes. "Mare's been down there for a while." she mumbled.

"I'm not going to be on cage rest for two months." said Mary lowly, narrowing her eyes, "I... I'll have..." She shook her head, then stiffened up a bit. "Not to mention another scar and a missing patch of fur?" she added, "No, I won't allow it."

"They can use the same scar, and fur grows back." he said as he looked at her. "And you will have us all for company, you won't be in a cage,, you can relax in the house as long as you don't move lots." he said softly.

The houndor nodded, "Are you going to go check on her?" he asked as he looked over at the other pokemon, wondering if she trusted Jacob enough with her sister.

"You're not my trainer, you don't get to decide that." she said lowly, growling a little. She eyed the door and jumped off the table, racing towards it. Fear was taking over as she just wanted to get away and hide. Both of the scientists blocked the door, which made her stop in her tracks.

"Yes, I am." said Maria, getting onto her paws, "It's been too long." She trotted towards the mansion.

The houndor watched her and laid his head back on his paws, wondering what was going on inside.

Jacob sighed, "You are going to hurt yourself again." he said softly, he went to her and attempted to pick her up so he could carry her back outside and she could see her sister and calm down, he knew this was liable to get him bitten, but he knew if she kept up like this, she'd end up hurting more.

Mary whipped around and snapped onto Jacob's sleeve. She purposefully missed, as she was considering this his warning. She shook her head and tore off part of his shirt. "I won't miss next time." she threatened. While Mary was distracted with Jacob, one of the men got a syringe of a sedative and stabbed her in the thigh. Mary howled in pain, then staggered backwards. It was a fast acting medicine, so it didn't take her long to lay down. "Will you please inform the president that we'll be taking care of Mary's back issue?" the first one asked.

Jacob looked at them in surprise, "But she said she didn't want it done." he said as he looked at the pair. "You can't just do this, especially without consulting Lusamine." he said as he picked up the furfrou.

[Boomer]

Mary was still somewhat awake as she was picked up. "She'll grant us permission." said one of them, "It's in her best interest." Mary quietly winced as her back was bothering her again. "She shouldn't feel any pain with how much we gave her." murmured the other, "This has to happen."

"Well she hasn't given you permission yet has she? So you aren't doing it, and you need to talk to Lusamine." he said. "Pokemon aren't just something you can toy with and do whatever you want to." he told them. "I am taking her out of here, you aren't doing surgery until she tells you she wants it." he said.
