"Just an antibiotic shot..." winced Alessa, looking down to Eevee, "I-I'm okay." Alessa felt her arm being squeezed tightly; she knew exactly what was going to happen next. "If you d-don't like blood, look away." said Alessa, shutting her eyes. Her blood was drawn and logged into the computer. All new Pokemon had to be examined before being put into the conservation area. Alessa opened her eyes once the pain was gone. "Do you want us to check out the Vulpix?" asked one of the scientists. Lusamine glanced down to Eevee and nodded. "Yes, I plan on keeping her around." she answered, "At least until we can find her trainer." Lusamine believed Eevee was a trainer's Pokemon that just wandered off.

Eevee looked at her, "Antibiotic?" she asked, unsure what that was, but when Alessa warned of blood, she quickly looked away and closed her eyes. When they spoke about her though, she opened her eyes and looked around in confusion, "What do they mean?" she asked as she hid behind Lusamine, unsure what was going on, "What do they mean trainer? I have no trianer, what does that mean?" she asked as she shook a little, "Are they going to hurt me? I don't want them to hurt me..." she said as she slowly backed away, looking fearfully at them all.

[Boomer]

"I think the humans think you came here by mistake." said Alessa quietly, "That perhaps you wandered onto their boat." She felt herself being set gently on the floor as Eevee was picked up. "I think they just want a blood sample..." said Alessa, flicking her tail, "A-and to make sure you're not sick."

Eevee trembled and looked up at Lusamine, scared, she wasn't sure what was going on and whined when she saw the needle and pressed herself harder against the woman, trying to hide from the shot. "I'm not sick though, why do they need my blood?" she asked in confusion as she looked down at Alessa.

[Boomer]

"I'm not sure." admitted Alessa, shaking her head. Lusamine held Eevee like how she held Alessa. "You're okay." she said quietly, petting her, "Just a little poke." Alessa laid down carefully, not wanting to hurt her leg.

Eevee looked at Lusamine with a whine as she was held, she looked away and closed her eyes tightly though, knowing she couldn't really avoid it, since she was being held, and she didn't want to hurt the human after all. She seemed nice enough, even though she was going to hurt her it seemed.

Alessa watched as the scientist slipped the needle into Eevee's arm effortlessly. The pup then looked to her paws as her blood was drawn. The scientist got the sample he needed, then moved to test it. The other scientist quickly examined Eevee as the Vulpix was put on the table.

Eevee didn't like it at all, she kept her eyes closed until she was moved into the cold table. She whimpered a little, not liking it, but she let the scientist examine her. She was fairly healthy, but lean, and no sign of being taken care of by a trainer.

[Boomer]

He recorded the notes he made as he examined her. "I think she's a wild Pokemon." he said, "Her fur is a little scruffy and she's not thin, but she's not big either." "I see..." said Lusamine quietly, picking up Eevee, "I suppose I'll keep her as a pet as well." Alessa sat up, looking to Eevee. She too was picked up. "Well, I'll be taking them upstairs." said Lusamine calmly, "I'm sure they're hungry." Alessa nodded a little.

Eevee looked at Alessa as she was picked up as well, "What's a pet?" shhe asked in confusion, not sure what that meant, but she was enjoying being held. She wagged her tails as she looked at Lusamine, "Does that mean she's my trainer now?" she asked as she licked Lusamine's cheek.
