Mark waved his hand at them as he paused to catch his breath, "Mhm, yeah, I'm good, one hundred percent, I am just gunna, stand here for a minute." he said as he rested his hands on his hips and closed his eyes, looking up at the sky. He really wasn't used to running for so long, sure he went for a morning jog, but these two were fast and it was more intense then he'd been expecting, especially since Sasha and Laker, other then the worriedness, seemed absolutely fine and weren't even breaking a sweat, "You guys forget, I am just an EMT, I don't need to haul people out of places, we have stretchers." he said, waving at them, "You two need to take up like, knitting or some other low impact hobby." he told them with a grin, although he was only partially kidding.
Jenna smiled lightly at Laker as he checked his phone, she nodded, "Yes, we will, if you still want to." she smiled as she looked at him. She looked over when Mark joined the, puffing a bit, and spoke, to which she couldn't help but chuckle at, "So you say." she smiled as she watched him. "And I do knit thank you, just not well." she laughed, as she tried to keep herself more composed. So much had changed with Laker, which she'd expected, but he seemed so worried now, which was so different from the confident man she'd known. And yet she still loved him, loved him like the accident never happened and these years hadn't passed. But they had, and things were different, but it seemed like they were starting to being a new relationship.
It had been hard on her after the accident, suddenly no longer having him in her life, and there hadn't truly been an end to their relationship. She'd tried to move on, date, but they never succeeded, she found herself always thinking of him and unable to get close to anyone else. And now she had a second chance with Laker, although she wasn't sure how it would go, he got so, upset? When she had a bit of an attack, she wasn't sure how he'd handle a full blown episode. She was hoping he'd be okay as well, he had a few spirals, but thankfully she had been able to calm him. And she hoped the more he learned, that he wouldn't get worse, but there was a chance.
Dinner though, hopefully that would be nice, and hopefully he wouldn't be as nervous and they would be able to enjoy it. She was looking forward to it, and she wouldn't talk about the past, unless he asked her more about it. She smiled and stretched, deeling refreshed now frm their brief break, "Are you ready to continue?" she asked as she looked over at Mark, who nodded, "Yeah, I guess if we have to." he said as he looked at them with a smile, dropping his hands since he had caught his breath.
