"I mean, well, I suppose the gashes on my head. Otherwise, not really." He murmured and continued to massage her shoulders.

She nodded and looked at him. “Tell me more about your family, I’ll tell you about mine.” She told him and relaxed her tense shoulders.

"What would you like to know? Ava is 13, my mom left 5 years ago, my brother was 15 when he died." He murmured and looked at her. He wasn't sure what she wanted too know.

She shrugged a bit and murmured, “My father and older brother who was 17 at the time died 5 years ago. My little sister got killed when she was 8 and that was 4 years ago and my mom died 7 years ago.”

"My older brother taught me how to shoot a bow. So technically I have him to thank for me being alive right now."

"My father taught me survival skills. We used to go out into the woods and go hunting. I never got to say goodbye or 'I love you' to any of my family."

"I'm sure they'd be proud of you. Just because they aren't here, doesn't mean they aren't watching." He told her softly, unsure of how to help.

“I know.” She whispered and moved off his lap. She lied back and sighed.

"Do you need anything?" He asked her quietly.
