"I got in a fight."She muttered and closed her eyes for a moment. "I'm from the worst district. 12." She sighed and looked at the ground. "I live alone, my family ran away without me so..." She muttered and cracked her neck. She had bruises all over herself from the fight. "You're more privileged than me so right away why don't you get me killed. I won't survive anyway. I barley survive at my house." She murmured and shook her head.

Well, you're a pretty good fighter. I have to admit, bruises mean nothing. As long as you won, and from what I can see. You did." Noah murmured and shook his head slightly. "Look, in the games. I'll keep an eye out for you. But I can't keep you alive forever, at some point either one of us is going to die."

"Why are you being nice to me all of the sudden?" She asked and raised her eyebrow. She stood up and looked deep into his eyes. "Why now?" She questioned and bit her lip a bit. She sighed and grabbed a knife. She spun it around her finger and waited for an answer.

"Because, sassy, you aren't that bad, really. When you bumped into me in the hallway, I wanted to help you up but I knew someone would see. And then well, you punched me. I'm not as mean as I come off, I swear. Now would you put the knife down?" He asked, thinking that she'd throw it past his face like she did with the arrow on day one.

She shook her head but put the knife down. "I am bad. I'm stupid. I'm everything that anyone could say that is bad. I'm no good. The only good thing I did was volunteer as tribute. The girl was so little and the family... they were my friends. I had too." She murmured and took a deep breath. She picked up the knife again and threw it at a dummy.

"Well, I suppose if you won't take my word for it I'll leave. We go into the arena tomorrow. Good luck, Aadya." Noah murmured and turned around, slowly walking out of the room. He didn't want her to die, especially on the first day. But he knew it was no use trying to get to know her, as either one of them would die anyway. There can only be one victor.

"Wait!" She called after him. She punched the wall out of frustration and sat down. She was probably too late. Guards grabbed her arms and dragged her away once they found her in the training room after hours. She had already messed up and it was only her 2nd day. She was dragged to her room and they didn't take the elevator, rather dragged her up the stairs.

Noah turned around, raising an eyebrow slightly at the guards. She hadn't done that much wrong, why couldn't they cut her some slack? They were being put into an arena to fight for the death tomorrow, at least the guards didn't have to deal with that. Quickly running after them, he got both the guards of Aadya and managed to get them to leave her alone. "You alright?"

Tears were running down her face but she quickly wiped them away. "I don't want to seem weak but no." She murmured and touched her badly bruised back and wincing. "I didn't know that the training room didn't run 24/7." She said and stood up. "I wonder if my parents know I'm going to die. I guess they could care less."

Noah smirked slightly at her words. "We're all going to die. We can't change that." He murmured softly, leaning against the stairwell. "Just because you're hurt doesn't mean you can't fight. Go to the infirmary and get treated as much as you can, because in the arena there's no going back." He muttered and started walking up the stairwell to him and the other tributes room.
