eva nodded and wiped the tears from her own face. "is there a good story about you and nora?"

”you wanna hear about our first kiss?” lyss smirked at the thought.

"yes please." she whispered happily and alyssa nodded and sat on the bed.

[diana prince]

lyss smiled and cleared her throat. “well, your sister had fallen asleep on a hill and started rolling down in her sleep. like how is that not funny? so i stood there dying of laughter, and anybody could’ve probably killed me in the moment. but she woke herself up from rolling, and was pissed at me for laughing so she came over and slapped me. and i was telling myself things like ‘oh hell no, who does she think she is’ so of course i whipped out my fist and slapped her. pretty sure i broke her nose. and i threatened her and told her to watch it if she ever wanted to see you guys again. then she kissed me and walked away.” lyss smiled.

"that's... interesting." alyssa laughed and sighed. "tell a story about when you saved her life. i want to hear it." alyssa said. "oh and call me anything but alyssa."

[diana prince]

lyss nodded. “i don’t like being called alyssa either.” she tried to think of a story. “i saved her life probably three or four times. swear she had a target on her back.”

"just tell us a damn story." alyssa muttered and laid down. "i can swear whenever i want, okay?"

[diana prince]

”i never said anything kid.” lyss laughed. “okay so your sister got shot in the foot with an arrow, right? and she makes the smart decision to pull the thing out of her damn foot. what an idiot. so of course i saved the day and treated her wounds so she wouldn’t bleed out. i stopped her from passing out by keeping her talking. she told me all about you three, she said you guys are all a pain in the ass.” she teased.

"surprising. she was barely ever home. she was always working. she worked part-time as a teacher and part-time as a nurse. it was so damn hard. i was always pissed at her. but she always got the money for a tiny bit of food for all of us each night and always told us that she loved us so much. i miss those days." she murmured softly.
