lucian huffed as he heard laura chasing after him, rolling his eyes when she positioned herself in front of him. he wasn't five, he could handle one vampire. glancing to said vampire, he stared at him lazily. "you're really gonna give your life for some damn money you're not going to get back anyways?" lucian deadpanned.

Laura rolled her eyes at lucian, he was drunk? Why didn’t he get that? He couldn’t fight this guy. The other vamp growled ” i’m Getting that money and I’m going to taste some blood” he smirked rolling up his sleeves.

lucian huffed in response. "the only blood you're going to taste is your own." he responded. his mind was still a bit off, but he was sure he could at least hold the guy off whilst laura gave the final blow or something, right? shaking his head, he pushed laura aside. guess he'd figure that out in a few seconds.

Laura growled as Lucian pushed her aside. She looked between the two. She didn’t want Lucian to get hurt, he may not care for her but she cares for him. She scurried in front of lucian until she was standing in front of the vamp. ” wise decision” he smirked grabbing Laura and tugging her away. He swiftly sunk his fangs into her neck. Laura clawed until she let herself fall the vampire slowly going down with her. He finished and stood up flexing, ” so she does have the special blood, I wasn’t sure but now I am” he licked his lips.

lucian hissed in annoyance as laura moved in front of him, only to be snatched by the vampire. he glared at laura as the vampire rose to his feet, stronger now. "that was dumb, you know that?' he spoke to laura, his gaze shifting back to the vampire and grasping his weapon tighter. he was drunk, and weak. the other vampire was sober, and now extremely strong, thanks to laura.

Laura pressed her hand to her neck before standing up and looking at lucian. “ Please go” she whimpered, if he left the vampire wouldn’t chase him. He wasn’t here for him. The vampire cracked his knuckles, ” what’s it gonna be?”

lucian looked to laura, scoffing and chuckling bitterly. "unlike you, laura, i don't run away." he spoke coldly, glancing back to the vampire and smirking. "time to taste your own blood, this time." lucian hissed, before lunging at the other vampire, digging his weapon deep into his side.

Laura narrowed her eyes forcing herself not to yell back. This wasn’t a time for petty arguments.the vampire gasped and clutched the weapon pulling it out of his side. He smirked and kicked the vampire harshly in the side.

lucian hissed in pain as he stumbled backwards from the kick, his hand moving to his ribs. fairly certain one was broken, he carefully repositioned himself and glared at the vampire, lunging once again.

Laura came up behind the vampire with a vase knocking him hard in the back off the head. He whirled around and fell to the ground. She took a deep breath before falling to her knees, since lot of her blood was taken.
