korra quirked a brow at nyx's words. "i cannot imagine you ever being good with children." the hunter declared, rising to her feet to put her empty glass in the sink. she wasn't the best with kids, either, so she was slightly relieved there was so baby yet. though, she knew laura and lucian would probably make a cute kid.

lucian shook his head, though he was glad it seemed nyx and korra were on somewhat of speaking terms now. glancing to laura, he discreetly winked to the woman, resting his arms on the table.

" Hey i may have dropped lucian on his head when we were little but it doesn't mean i bad with a kids" he grumbled before grinning at korra.

Laura smiled at korra and nyx happy they were talking again, at least one thing would be ok when she left. She noticed lucian's wink and she winked back before gently placing her hand over his.

korra tried not to laugh, but ended up snorting in amusement, biting back a smile as she rolled her eyes with a shake of her head. glancing to lucian, she then shrugged. "explains some things."

lucian gently squeezed laura's hand, leaning back in his chair and rolling his eyes at nyx and korra. them being good again meant more trouble for him. though, he was glad his brother seemed to be figuring things out.

Nyx, chuckled as he listened to korra " I know, its my fault hes a little absent up here" he smiled as he pointed to his temple. he looked away as his hunger rose, he still needed to eat but he wasn't going to ask. Not now, just after they started talking.

Laura sighed before laughing at Nyx, she noticed him look away and she sighed and turned toward korra's direction " Hey, i know this isn't want you want to do right now, but Nyx hasn't had blood...in a while" she glanced over at the vampire before turning back to korra. " And....i couldn't provide him with any, so we need you to give some"

korra snickered quietly, glancing to lucian who already looked tired of their antics. "such an old man." the hunter drawled, her eyes moving to laura when the other woman began to speak. korra slowly nodded her head, rising to her feet and moving to the kitchen to refill her glass with whiskey before returning to the table. pulling her hair up away from her neck, korra pat it twice. "have your fill."

Laura watched korra walk over and she decided to leave seeing it best if she didn't faint again. She walked away finding tyler packing in her room. Tyler looked up " Laura you need to get packing, we have to leave before dark" she stated frantically." I'll be outside, just slip out there when you get a chance and we'll leave"
Nyx sighed and sunk his fangs into her neck, once he had enough he pulled away before noticing laura was gone, probably for the best whatever happened to them at barons, scarred her for life.

korra clenched her fists as fangs entered her neck, her eyes shutting. forcing herself to take deep breaths. nyx wasn't baron's men. she was okay. korra continued to repeat that message in her head until he pulled away, exhaling a sigh of relief and opening her eyes, glancing around to see laura, lucian, and tyler gone. lucian figured laura and tyler were going on a walk or something, so he just headed to the room to shower.

Nyx watched korra before furrowing his brow " Are you ok?" he asked, watching korra carefully.

Laura had gotten her stuff while lucian was in the shower, she made her way out the front door quietly shutting it behind her. " Lets go" she mumbled to tyler sadly. Tyler unlocked the car with the keys she had stole and quickly got in and laura followed before the sped off.

korra forced herself to relax, nodding her head. "i'm fine." she responded, lifting her hand and removing the hair tie from her hair. "did you get enough?" she then questioned, leaning back into the chair.

lucian exited the shower, drying off and dressing himself. leaving the bathroom, he paused when he noticed the room seemed a bit empty. shaking his head slowly, he took a seat on the bed and laid back, staring up at the ceiling. something felt off.

Nyx nodded " I got enough" he sighed then narrowed his eyes as he heard the faint sound of a car in the distance. He quickly got up and ran to the window to see one of the cars gone. He sighed before quickly making his way to lucians room he swung the door open. Not seeing laura he took a deep breath " Lucian...they're gone"

Laura watched as the house disappeared and they were soon on the main road. She felt her eyes water and tears streaming down her face.
