- korra quickly dodged the flames, glaring at laura and baron. baron was just staring intently at laura, making it clear he was pushing all of his effort into controlling her. now would be the perfect time to kill him. she pulled out her weapon, pausing as she heard something behind her, she quickly turned, eyes widening as she watched nyx fall to the ground with a knife in his chest. she glared daggers at the other vampire, grabbing her own knife and quickly throwing it at their head, crouching down to nyx. "hey, just..stay still." she instructed, eyes flickering around them to make sure no other vampires would attack.
lucian moved away from the flames, jaw clenching at the mention of naomi. "you aren't naomi." he spoke calmly, staring at her. "i love you, not naomi." he repeated, a small flash of a memory running through his brain. "remember? the-the night you first told me you loved me. you said it was a way of saying goodbye." he spoke, desperately trying to grasp onto the memory before it went away. "and when you came back, and told me it again? and i asked if you were going anywhere? but you said you weren't." lucian rambled, staring at laura.
