lucian nodded his head slowly. as naomi was brought up, lucian's body tensed slightly, but he just dipped his head in another nod, watching his brother go inside. sighing, lucian pushed off the wall and followed him in.

korra glared at laura as she knocked the back of her head. "suck it up, i'm sure that's easy for you to say." korra muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes as the boys came in. she searched the fridge, pulling out some milk and grabbing a box of cereal. "we need to figure out a plan." the hunter stated the obvious, pouring the cereal and milk into a bowl before putting it away. sometimes, she needed a good drink to get her mind right. "baron's probably gonna start messing with laura's mind soon, so it'd be nice if we could figure it out while she's still sane." korra murmured, putting a spoonful of cereal into her mouth. pausing, she looked to laura. "or, maybe not. if he forces her to tell her our moves, whatever they are, it's all over."

Laura clenched her jaw, the pain growing. Korra was pissing her off and her head pain was not helping. ” While I’m still sane? He is not gonna force me to do anything ” She growled. She opened her hand letting a small flame dance through her fingers.

korra quirked a brow, glancing to laura. "if he's stronger than most vampires, i don't think we can exactly rule that out." she responded, lucian crossing his arms at the tension in the room. "enough." he spoke, shaking his head with an annoyed sigh. "point is, we need a plan." he announced, leaning against the wall. he knew laura was most likely going to be quite upset with him about the suggestion, but he was taking advantage of the fact that he had more solid emotions now. "maybe we can trick baron into thinking laura ran off. he catches her, thinking he's won, but we're all set up to ambush him." he mumbled, running his fingers through his hair. he didn't want to just out and say laura could be bait, so he found some other way to say it.

Laura looked away and ran her hand through her hair. ” So you want me to be bait” she huffed before turning to Nyx. Nyx nodded his head “ Laura, Lucian is right this could be our best chance” Laura stared at the ceiling before finally nodding “ Fine I’ll do it”

lucian pursed his lips, glancing to nyx before nodding his head in relief as she agreed to do it. korra hummed, finishing up her cereal. "i can set up a few traps around the area we choose?" she suggested, stretching her shoulders back. it was a low chance of actually getting any vampire to get in them, but if they were in a rush, there was a possibility.

Laura, Sighed " Alright, so where do i need to go?" she questioned watching them all. The pain grew larger but she fought it and she would for as long as she could.

Nyx, scoffed " traps aren't gonna due much but do what you want" he then turned to Laura seeing her wince in pain " And we need to get you to the location before he takes total control of your mind"

lucian paused, trying to think of the area and grumbling. "i don't remember this place." he announced in slight annoyance, passing a hand down his face. korra paused, shrugging. "well, we could always do it at the bowling alley. again." she mumbled, thinking of what else she saw. "there's a soccer field, too, but that's pretty...open."

" If i ran away i would just run to the woods" laura stated before looking over at Nyx who was already grabbing the keys. " I'll take her to this large patch of woods right outside town, there is still that hot wired car out front that you two can use to get there....just be quick we don't know how far away he is from us"

lucian glanced to nyx, still a bit wary of trusting him, but he slowly nodded. "alright." he mumbled, glancing to korra who was headed to the room to change clothes and grab whatever she needed. "once she comes back, we'll head out, too." he instructed his brother.

Nyx gently pushed against laura's back as they walked out the door. Laura's head pounded as she got in the car. " Nyx hurry up" she growled as Nyx sped through down the road. They soon arrived at the woods and Nyx helped her out of the car. He gently placed her down and scaled a tree. Waiting for the others to come.
