lucian froze at her words. he had told her he loved her? he felt slight guilt at the fact that he chose to forget. but if it saved her, maybe it was worth it. he sighed, carefully moving closer to her and gently resting his hand on her arm. "help me remember." he whispered.

Chills ran down her back as lucian placed a hand on her arm. Taking a deep breath she quickly wiped her tear away. And turned to face lucian. She smiled weakly she wanted to kiss him so badly to maybe jog his memory but she couldn't do it. " I wish i could"

lucian watched as she turned to face him, his brows furrowing at her words. "what do you mean?" he questioned with slight confusion, shifting slightly yet keeping his gaze on her.

" I don't want something to happen like this again" she bit her lip, " I don't want you to pay the price again" Taking a deep breath she placed her hand on his arm.

lucian raised a brow at her response, sighing slightly. "and how are you so certain something will happen again?" he questioned, yawning slightly. "once we, somehow, kill baron, things will settle down." lucian mumbled.

korra slid out of the bed with a soft sigh, rubbing her eyes as she exited the room, heading downstairs. making her way to the kitchen, she put the kettle on, pulling out some tea and placing it on the counter before hoisting herself up, leaning back and waiting for the water to get hot.

Nyx rubbed his eyes as he heard movement in the kitchen. Grabbing his weapon he crept into the kitchen only sighing when he saw korra. " Why are you awake?"

Laura, sighed " I just don't want there to even be the slightest chance" She replied gently removing her hand. She glanced down at his lips before looking away. " I just don't think its safe"

lucian sighed once more at her words, shaking his head. "it's never going to be safe, laura. nobody can ever be one hundred percent safe. especially being who we are." he pointed out, moving his hand to rub the side of his cheek, reminding himself to shave.

korra heard footsteps, turning her head to look at nyx. as the kettle began to whistle, she slid off of the counter, grabbing a mug and moving to the stove, turning the dial off and pouring the hot water into the mug. moving back to the tea, she grabbed a bag and dipped it into the water, busying herself with that. "sorry - did you wanna go hide in the room now that i'm down here?" she questioned casually, pointing up the stairs.

Laura closed her eyes tightly....she sighed loudly. " You wanted me to help you remember?" Laura tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. " Then lets try" she gently removed his hand from his face and placed it on her side. She leaned toward him before gently locking her lips with his.

lucian raised a brow at her question, slowly nodding. as she moved his hand from his face, he simply watched her, letting it rest carefully on her side. as laura leaned towards him, he felt a sense of familiarization, pressing his lips against hers once they had met. his eyes closed, letting himself focus on the feeling. he knew this. they'd done this before.

Nyx scoffed " I'm not hiding i'm doing whats best for both of us" he growled " I'm going back to sleep" he mumbled before moving back to the couch.

Laura, moved closer before moving to his jaw. Gently she kissed his neck. She wanted this to be real she wanted to be caught up here forever. The pain in her heart had grown bigger while she was at baron's and when lucian lost his memory. But now it was gone, and she wanted it to stay that way.
